"New Outlook" Inbox not updating
In the "New Outlook" (which appears identical to the current web version of outlook): whenever I get a new email, I will get a notification and the unread counter next to my inbox tab will increase by one... but the email itself will not appear in the inbox UNTIL I click out of the inbox and back into it! It doesn't appear that the inbox can refresh itself "on-the-fly" as new emails come in, it only refreshes itself when it is loaded up! Are others experiencing this issue? I see svhelden posted about it a year ago but they said a software update fixed it... to me it seems to still be occurring with both the desktop and web app.
Email uol imap doesn't work with New Outlook
I am trying to add my email uol Imap to the New Outlook. I follow the process to introduce a new account, it run for 4 minutes (message "Aguardando seu provedor de email" and does not complete the configuration. I have tried to speak with Microsoft Chat Support and they recommended me to report the problem here, because this is a complain without solution till the moment.
to big title bar in Office 365 update 2408
Hi all, since a couple of days I have to work with the ugly, annoying, awful, ... user interface in Office 365. The title bar size became horrible large. Compared with an explorer window from Win 10 it is nearly the double height. As an Office Poweruser (I'm working with the office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) unluckily the whole day) I'm looking for smallen the title bar again. There was a registry hack, but on my machine this isn't working anymore. Because of the ribbon interface and a lot of not needed functions this is how my Quick Access Toolbars (QAT) are looking like: Now somebody could tell my, "OK, switch the QAT to the top, so that the title bar get more sense! Problem is, that the monochrome icons are absolutly boring AND especially for Word I can't differ between my macros, which I set with different colours. The title bar is smaller because of the standard buttons and the search field, so that not all my most loved commands have space here Dragging the window can not be done with the title bar, as it was since the beginning of time. I need to find some space somewhere. Does someone have an idea to reduce the size of the title bar as it was before? Or does someone have an idea to colorize the icons, when they are inside the title bar? If I consider that the taskbar is also increasing in size, especially in WIN 11 where this isn't adjustable, both sides (top + bottom) in sum are steeling to many space. Cheers! Kay
Family Calendar iOS
I have two organisers (spouse an I) and one member (child) in my family. Spouse and I can see the family calendar listed in iOS's native Calendar app. Child has the same setup but cannot see the calendar in iOS's native Calendar app. If I logon to my email account on outlook.com the Calender shows both under Other Calendars and Group (same calendar entries). If I logon to my child's account on outlook.com the Calendar only shows under Group. How can I have it show under Other Calendars on my child's account? Also, in desperation I installed the Outlook app on my child's iphone and that doesn't show Group Calendars either.
Sendto Onenote
I have tried and tried.... Im using O365 Business. I have tried both the PC, Mac and web version without any luck. Im not able to find the sendto Onenote option what so ever. Its not to be found anywhere. I even tried an IT consultant, but couldnt help either. Anyone with any suggestions/solutions?Calendar of a Distribution Group in new Outlook
We have a Distribution Group in O365, which contains all members of a team. When you add this Distribution Group to the calendar, you can see the calendar of each team member. This way the admin can just update the Distribution Group with new team members, and everyone has gets the updated list of calendars. In the current Outlook you need to disable "Turn on shared calendar improvements" for this to work as described here. But in the "new" Outlook I can't add the calendars via the Distribution Group, and the option from the "old" Outlook is gone. Does anyone have a solution for this?
MS 365 Settings changed and point to the wrong email address.
The MS support person directed me to change settings in an effort to consolidate two MS 365 accounts into one. In the process my access to the Outlook files in my primary address appear as those from the legacy address. I must receive emails separately to both and be able to send email from both as was the case before I lost functionality on March 12. Over ten hours on the phone with support did not yield a solution and I have submitted subsequent support requests that have been ignored. I cannot add the second email account to Outlook and efforts to change setting in MS 365 have not been effective.Microsoft Places individual desk booking is not working
Hi, Following the documentation, Configure desk booking - Microsoft Places | Microsoft Learn, I successfully ran the shared command lines without any errors. However, on Microsoft Places, I am unable to see individual desks appear; only desk pools are visible. Has anyone managed to get this to work? Thanks,
