I'm running MS 365 on my Samsung Ultra 24 android phone. When using MS Word and choosing the "save as" option, i am given a number of options such as this device, one drive, drop box etc. However I want to save to my NAS via the VPN that connects both my phone and NAS. Can this be done? Is there an Android app that integrates with MS 365 for this purpose? TIA ... Greg6Views0likes0CommentsMicrosoft 365 login
Hi folks, I can't login into my Microsoft Account from any Office 365 application on my Laptop. I can login to my my Account in any Webbrowser, on my Smartphone and so an. Unfortunatly there is no working Microsoft Support System for this problem. Instead there is an infinite support loop, which gets me in between a repair tool, that cant find any problems with my account and wants me to change my password. Anyone any idea how to fix this? thx66Views0likes0CommentsEmails stuck in Outbox - again
Lately, I experience more an more customers calling me because Emails are stuck in Outlook's Outbox. The problem can be overcome by creating a completely new message, copying the content over and send that message off. All while many other messages went out the Outbox without issues. I've had that behavior before now and then over the years and usually "fixed" it by deleting the local .OST file or even creating a new Outlook Profile. This did it for most users, but I now get cases where I had done that "fixing" before already. I looked into it once again and found that Emails stuck in Outlooks Outbox are only visible in Outlook. There is no copy of the same message on Office 365 OWA in the same folder. Each of those emails seem also not to appear in the Draft folder in OWA while still editing, although they are visible and editable in Outlook. All those emails are rather small (1-3k) with no attachments All those emails are replies or forwards of email received in the Inbox (both local and in OWA visible). Never newly created messages. By the way, SARA (https://aka.ms/sara_home) provides a new function to try to fix issues with sent messages. However, SARA won't find the messages stuck in the Outbox (albeit I can see and open them) in my cases and thus can't fix, apparently. What could be the reason of those stuck messages and how can I finally fix that issue? It occurs across different tenants. The most common denominator seems to be Office 2016, although I've had the problem also with other versions of Outlook. Thanks Dan241KViews1like13Commentshelp with combining 2 ms office accounts
I inadvertently have ended up with one personal Office 365 account and also a insitution Office 365 account. One had the apps I use (word, excel, etc) but no email and the other has my email but none of the apps. How do I get everything in one account? I know there are links for how to do this but I'm not experienced enough to follow them without getting lost or making mistakes. I need step by step kindergarten type instructions and nothing on MS website is written for folks like me.15Views0likes0Commentscursor not placing properly and not highlighting text to edit
MS Office apps recently not functioning properly. Most noticeable is in Excel when I try to place the cursor inside an already typed sentence in order to edit some text, the cursor automatically goes to the end of the sentence. I have to back space to get to the part of the text that I want to change. Also, I cannot highlight text to edit the text. If I save the document then attempt to edit, it works only once and then does not work again. Also noticed the same thing in Outlook just started to happen. It does not happen in other non-MS apps i.e. I can use my Google Chrome browser with no issues when editing and highlighting text so it must be just a MS Office issue. Any suggestions?54KViews1like21CommentsFile Upload Link Sharing with External Organizations Using Ms forum

Any insights on timelines would be appreciated. Thank you!38Views0likes1CommentNew burst of OBVIOUS Junk mail evading Outlook filters
Within the last month, I began to receive 10+ obvious junk mails in my 365 Outlook Family / live.com inbox every day. MSFT help was UNhelpful (e.g., 'whack a mole' by reporting each, set strict filters that route needed emails to Junk folder, etc.). FWIW, I use a VPN, don't post on social media and send/receive <30 emails/day. Are MSFT's talented resources (PhD's, engineers, AI, etc.) engaged in tuning filters to block the crap shown below? I would hope that MSFT understands that minimizing frustrating experiences for users of a fundamental tool like email is essential to maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty. I'd rather have them spend more to provide a (nearly) junk free inbox - even it means fewer new features in Outlook. I hope that MSFT can address this new surge of Junk bypassing its filters. I use Interop.Word from a Winforms application for interaction with Word documents. Everything was okay until the latest Office 365 updates on 10/31. Word hangs when used from within Interop.Word. Issue resolved itself when Office update is rolled back. Did something happen or change with respect to Interop.Word during this update? I haven’t seen any other reported issues regarding this. Any suggestion on what I can do to fix it without having to rollback? thanks89Views1like1Comment
