Disable Copilot in Microsoft 365 Personnel et Famille
Hi, I was particularly annoyed to see the Copilot icon appearing recently on all products (word, excel,...). Impossible to disable it on Mac. Particularly bugging as I definitely do not want to either test or use Copilot. What can be done? Or when the issue will be solved? BR
Workaround for ms365 demo tenant account(copilot access)
I have a Microsoft 365 tenant demo account but currently do not have access to Copilot. Audit-based alerts are a way for tenants to mark audit events that they want to be notified about through email when these events appear in the unified audit log. It’s a way for administrators to monitor what happens in a tenant. Time has run out for activity alerts because better ways exist to monitor audit events. Office 365 Backup
Iam Looking For: Find a backup solution for our Office 365 data such as SharePoint/OneDrive content, e-mails, calendars, contacts, notes, tasks etc. ! The harddrives of the machine definitly need to be encrypted. Not sure of synology can do that reliably (LUKS?). Synology had some security issues in the past, but they might have been only relevant if they are exposed to the internet. I think we have two options: Backup in the office on encrypted drives with very restricted access (SSH?) Encrypt backup and upload it to S3 (not sure if there's a tool for that) I'm fine with both. Is there an open source tool that can mirror Office 365 on a local machine? (Linux) is the Synology tool proprietary?
External user with "Reviewer" permission not able to edit content controls
A document was shared to an external user by me with "Reviewer" permission. He reported that he was not able to edit contents of the content controls (regardless of the type). I validated this by sharing the document to my personal email and faced the same issue.
Strange typographical change in Outlook365 -- how to revert?
Hi, Yesterday when I was about to reply to an email sent to me, suddenly the display of email messages in my Outlook365 desktop client became weird. See the attached picture. I don't know why this is, and what kind of "feature" this is, and how to reverse this. Can somebody provide guidance and help me? This problem is seen in the Desktop Outlook365 classic client for Windows (not the "new" Outlook365 client). I don't know the exact version numbers etc; M$ has made it very difficult to find such on the application itself. By the applications listed in the software/add install control panel, I think this is Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise, build 16.0.17928.20216. OS: Windows 11. Just FYI, that problem did NOT appear in the Outlook web client. The same draft would have looked fine. How to achieve easy file update on Powerbi repository
Hi, I am new to powebi and I am trying to understand if powerbi could be the answer to a challenge that I have. I receive a monthly excel report file (always with the same format and schema) from a partner. I would like to have a dashboard that visualised the report content. I can achieve this when I link the one file with powerbi, however, I am not sure how to handle the monthly increments. Do I need to have some kind of master file that every month I manually update with the data from the new file that I receive, or is there a smart solution where I can just drop the file into a repository and Powerbi will automatically fetch all files in the repository? Any ideas are welcome. Thanks
