Tracking Competencies & Development in MS Teams?
Does anyone have any experience building an employee development program inside Microsoft Teams? Our team had the idea to map out competencies and integrate employee development programs into our overall performance management cycle. We would love to keep all of this inside Teams. Hi everyone, We've been wanting to start conducting eNPS surveys inside Microsoft Teams for a while now but we've struggled with the built in Polls tool. We also couldn't figure out how to create an eNPS tool with Power Apps. Any recommendations?MeggyB360Feb 20, 2026Copper Contributor15Views0likes1CommentGroup email addresses for Teams sometimes contain “+” or “/” characters
We are using Microsoft Teams in our organization. When creating multiple Teams with exactly the same team name, using ASCII alphanumeric characters only, we occasionally see that the automatically generated group email address contains unexpected characters such as “+” or “/”. I would like to know whether this behavior is expected or if it is specific to our environment. This issue seems to have been occurring since around August 2025. We manually create Teams using the Windows Teams client. For example, if we create several Teams with a simple name such as “example2026”, the corresponding group email addresses are generated in the following format: email address removed for privacy reasons However, in some cases, the XXXXXX portion includes characters like “+” or “/”. When creating around 50 Teams, this issue appears in a few of them. This causes two problems for us: A “+” character interferes with plus-addressing behavior. When a “/” is included, we cannot create events inside the Team. Has anyone else encountered this issue or knows why this happens? Any insights would be appreciated.CodeNishFeb 19, 2026Copper Contributor8Views0likes1CommentProviding Early Feedback - Simplified Teams app bar 557169
How do we provide early feedback to prevent this from happening or requesting the option to disable this feature? If anything, I want Teams to de-simplify. Microsoft keeps going out of their way to hide things that are crititical to productivity. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=&searchterms=557169 I mean - generally - how do we get Microsoft to stop making things worse? It seems like the recommendation is to use the feedback button in the app; but by that time it's too late. Telling the 100+ people who ask me what Microsoft broke this week to use the feedback button is not helping avoid their distaste and distrust of this platform. This is why people are avoiding Teams and prefer text messaging and WhatsApp. We desperately need to increase adoption but Microsoft keeps obscuring features that lead to increased confusion. Where do we make requests to decrease simplicity and increase productivity?26Views0likes0CommentsTeams crops previewed image
On Teams app for Mac, the previewed image in chat is being cropped. The image preview itself displays full image as shown below (see all numbers 1-7 visible): However, after clicking on the image itself to view it, the image is cropped (notice the number 7 no longer being displayed): You have to manually click a zoom out button and then the image becomes uncropped.vwkFeb 19, 2026Copper Contributor14Views0likes0CommentsTeams window stuck on top of all others
I'm using the new Teams, having switched just a few days ago. Right now my Teams window is "stuck" on top of my other windows. Any window I try to move into the same space as Teams on my desktop results in Teams being over that window. This happens randomly. I've seen this behavior occasionally with Chrome as well, but not with any other app. Does anyone know why/how my Teams window got stuck on top? Is there a way to correct this without having to shut down Teams and restart it?Cal_AbFeb 18, 2026Copper Contributor2.3KViews0likes1CommentIntroducing a new feature on Microsoft Teams: "Save this message"
Exciting news - alongside pinning your posts/messages, you can now save them too. All your saved messages will be neatly organized under the "Saved" menu within Teams, right below the "Followed Thread" section. Look out for a special icon marking your saved messages for easy reference. And the best part? You have the flexibility to unsave messages whenever you wish. Stay organized and never lose track of important information with this handyAmi_diamondFeb 18, 2026Brass Contributor945Views1like2CommentsWhat tool can I use in MS Teams to gather feedback with open-ended questions?
We've tried our shot with polls and forms, but there have to be better methods (or better use-cases for both tools than how we've been using them). Any recommendations?EmmaHastingsFeb 17, 2026Copper Contributor192Views0likes5CommentsAutofilter Channel Posts
We manage a variety of digital products for a large user base across many different countries and want to curate our comms to limit irrelevant posts reaching users unnecessarily. For example a post about "Product A affecting Country X" should not reach "Country Y". What is the best practice here? Currently we've opted for a central channel with tags to assist users in managing their notifications, but they will still see all posts when visiting the channel and will need to self-filter. Is there a way for us to configure the channel so they only see posts they are tagged in? I know we could set up individual channels for each Product+Country combination but then any common posts we make would need to be duplicated into each channel separately. Thinking out loud, I suppose if we automate our posts with a workflow/AI then discrete channels is a good solution to keep things organised. Any ideas or feedback please?Anthony_JacksonFeb 17, 2026Brass Contributor28Views0likes1CommentCreating a meeting with an old link
I was asked to create a series of meetings (not recurring, as they take place once a month but at different times and on different days) using the one link that was used for them for previously scheduled meetings, in order not to lose the chat. Is this possible?SolvedLuciaCanoneroFeb 17, 2026Copper Contributor13KViews1like6Comments
