Struggling to keep 1:1 meeting notes organized across weeks in Teams
I have 8 direct reports and we do weekly 1:1s. Right now I'm keeping notes in OneNote but theres no easy way to carry over action items from last week or see what we talked about 3 months ago without scrolling forever. Teams meeting notes are even worse because each meeting creates a separate note. Someone in my company suggested using a Loop page but that still doesnt solve the continuity problem. How are other managers keeping a running history of 1:1 conversations thats actually searchable and organized?ClaireBApr 10, 2026Copper Contributor5Views0likes0CommentsHow are you running performance reviews without leaving Teams?
Our HR team keeps pushing us to use this separate web portal for performance reviews, but nobody actually logs into it. We basically live in Teams all day so I've been wondering - has anyone found a way to do the whole review cycle (self assessments, manager ratings, calibration) without making people leave Teams?EmmaHastingsApr 10, 2026Copper Contributor19Views0likes1CommentAbility to take Personal Notes on Interactions in TEAMS
I have a lot of situations where I would like to take and keep personal notes associated to a specific TEAMS interactions. I don't want to have to keep my notes in a separate place like OneNote or Outlook. Our Teams environment is fairly restrictive when it comes to external sharing. We do not permit OneDrive external sharing, and Teams sharing is disabled except for guest accounts that IT creates. That has become a bit of a pain when we need to provide access to external entities that might need just a one-time access for files. Creating a guest account for a one-time/short-term use takes time and seems administratively cumbersome. Anyone have any suggestions for these sort of needs?TomCSBApr 08, 2026Copper Contributor4Views0likes0CommentsTeams not accepting GIPHY Terms and Conditions
I have the option to send GIPHY gifs, but every time I click the option, it prompts to Accept or Decline the GIPHY Terms and Conditions. Despite clicking "Accept" several times, I still cannot utilize the GIPHY service as it keeps prompting the Terms and Conditions. This happens in both the desktop and web browser apps, but not the phone app. Please help!SolvedbungwhoaApr 08, 2026Copper Contributor4.2KViews0likes7CommentsGroup email addresses for Teams sometimes contain “+” or “/” characters
We are using Microsoft Teams in our organization. When creating multiple Teams with exactly the same team name, using ASCII alphanumeric characters only, we occasionally see that the automatically generated group email address contains unexpected characters such as “+” or “/”. I would like to know whether this behavior is expected or if it is specific to our environment. This issue seems to have been occurring since around August 2025. We manually create Teams using the Windows Teams client. For example, if we create several Teams with a simple name such as “example2026”, the corresponding group email addresses are generated in the following format: email address removed for privacy reasons However, in some cases, the XXXXXX portion includes characters like “+” or “/”. When creating around 50 Teams, this issue appears in a few of them. This causes two problems for us: A “+” character interferes with plus-addressing behavior. When a “/” is included, we cannot create events inside the Team. Has anyone else encountered this issue or knows why this happens? Any insights would be appreciated.CodeNishApr 07, 2026Copper Contributor116Views0likes4CommentsUnily app within Teams
we are in the process of migrating from our current intranet vendor to Unily, and we had full Teams integration as a requirement during the RFP process. we were told it existed. fast forward to last week when we asked about it and we were told there is no Unily app for Teams. i could've sworn this existed, and when i google it, the AI results (i know, not the most reliable source) says there is a unily app for Teams. i know you can send notifications from the Unily broadcast center to Teams channels, but we want the actual 'intranet' app like the sharepoint app where it appears in the left navigation pane and essentially is an iframe of SP inside of Teams. i know other intranet vendors have this capability (staffbase, firstup, maybe simpplr), but for Unily to be a big partner of microsoft's and not have a Teams app seems crazy. does anyone know if it used to exist but doesn't anymore? thanks in advance!kbowling580Apr 07, 2026Copper Contributor17Views0likes0CommentsHow do you handle employee recognition in Microsoft Teams without it feeling forced?
Hey community, Our HR team is trying to implement a point-based recognitions / incentive program (or rewards whatever you are all calling it in your companies). We are having a bit of trouble finding the right features inside MS Teams to do this. We really don't want this to live outside of Teams because you know how initiatives work in modern work: If people don't see it, they are going to forget about it in a month or two tops. Any recommendations?ElisaDelaneyApr 02, 2026Brass Contributor137Views0likes3CommentsTeams Planner Duplication
Does anyone know if you can duplicate Microsoft Teams Planners for onboarding tasks? I am trying to create an easily replicable Teams Planner with links to files in Sharepoint folders, for example. I want to be able to copy this planner for each new hire and have a copy of all the files and planner tasks in the new copy. Any advice or expertise would be much appreciated!madelinebrattApr 02, 2026Copper Contributor58Views0likes1CommentCreating a meeting with an old link
I was asked to create a series of meetings (not recurring, as they take place once a month but at different times and on different days) using the one link that was used for them for previously scheduled meetings, in order not to lose the chat. Is this possible?SolvedLuciaCanoneroApr 01, 2026Copper Contributor13KViews1like7Comments
