Teams Telephony on Citrix
A customer is keen to implement Teams Telephony but are using a Citrix infrastructure. What are the key things that need to be addressed when using teams for UC via a citrix/virtual desktop infrastructure. can anyone provide any links to docs that may provide any guidance. I have not yet dealt with azure virtual desktop/citrix when implementing Teams so any help or experiences with this would be gratefully received.Custom additions to meeting invites.
Hi All. I have had a customer request that i thought would be worth investigating. The ask was to have a custom addition to a meeting invite that identifies if the meeting is, for example, a personal meeting or business meeting.. This can simply be a radio button in the invitation that then highlights this to the attendees and in the calendar.. This is so that the customer can force users to input their business meetings via their CRM tool. What they would like is for a dialogue box to be displayed if selecting anything other than personal meeting indicating that the meeting should be set up in their CRM. Is this at all possible or has anyone come across anything similar to this. Thanks B311Views0likes0Commentsregional availability on unavailability
Hi All. Is there a list of regions where Microsoft Phone system is not available. I have a request to set up PSTN connectivity to Teams in Eastern Africa, when looking into connectivity options the region doesn't appear in Microsoft's list for me to check what voice services are available so even if I had direct routing set up would this work for a user based in that region... I feel I am overthinking itre routing calls in non calling plan regions
Hi Guys I wonder if someone can clarify something please. A client is asking me to configure toll/toll free numbers in several regions around the globe and then forward those numbers out of Teams to an external number. They are looking to use Microsoft calling plans within their tenant. The issue I face is that some of the regions are areas where calling plans are unavailable and as such I don't think I can forward to a PSTN number from that region. What they have asked is can I forward the call to an internal account in a region that is covered by calling plans and from there forward it to the external number,. My concern is the legality of this and if this is really something they should be doing. I have raised my concern but was hoping for certainty before going back and saying noSolved887Views0likes1CommentShared Voicemail
Hi All. When viewing a voicemail left in a channel in teams ( from a call q ) I have noticed there is no delete option. I suspect this is down to the fact that users need to be owners in order to delete messages from a group. Has this carried into the voice features or am I missing something?Re: calling issues following region change
I suspect this is an issue with Dynamics 365 and how it is set up to deliver calls to the users. Not knowing Dynamics can anyone advise how calls are configured to route to Teams users and If they are configured with Direct Routing, are there any requirements for them to receive calls. ( exchange contact card info etc )... I may be thinking to high level.1.2KViews0likes0Commentscalling issues following region change
Hi All. A customer has been advised by MS support that they needed to change the region of their tenant for data residency. There was no consideration on how this may affect omnichannel in dynamics as a result they are now having issue with calls coming in. following a conversation with support they have been advised to purchase Solgari... this was not a welcome suggestion.. Before i start pulling things appart for this customer can someone advise how changing the region would effect dynamics in this way or if there is anything else within Direct routing config that may be worth investigation. Apologies for the lack of detail but i have a meeting to discuss this later this week so should have more info then.1.3KViews0likes3Comments
