Notification with external

Copper Contributor

Hi all,

I'm currently working for a client where the CISO has a specific question that I'm unable to answer.

He's looking for a to set some sort of a notification in a Teams chat when a employee is working with external people.

Yes, they have the little label that says "External", but he prefers a more prominent label/message that should say something like:  " Your communication with someone out of your organisation".

Like the messages you get when you've got DLP set up.

Does anyone has an idea how I can make this happen?

Greatly appriciated.

@stefanhems have not seen that but maybe you can put it in the feedback channel more expression on external chat · Community (microsoft.com)

Havent seen this as well.
but maybe there is some sort of a workaround?

They're not so concerned about chat messages, but it's about the sharing of files. When the external shares a (malicious) file... they need to see and be aware of the possibility that the file could be malicious.

@stefanhems Files in teams are always scanned before they are being shared so this should not be of any issue.
