Conditional Formatting one cell based on another

Hi 

Please can somebody help me.

I have 2 columns of numbers - sales this week and sales last week.

how can i conditional format so that sales this week are green if > last week, and red if < last week

Hi Rachel

I created a sample sheet with This week sales in Column A and Last week sales in column B.

You need to select the numbers in Column A (where the formatting  will appear) and create 2 conditional formatting Rules (Home Tab >> Conditional Formatting >> new Rule >> Use Formulas:

Rule 1:

=A2>B2    Format >> Green Fill

Rule 2:

=A2<B2   Format >> Red Fill
