@leeuniverse so I was just playing around with the new Brave Browser, and they have the same problem, but one guy found an almost perfect alternate fix that works with Edge as well....just swipe on the favorite link you want to open, and it works in a new tab. It can be all done with the mouse and one push of the left mouse and a swipe to the right :) One minor flaw is if on a page like this that accepts drag and drop content onto it, you have to swipe to the Tab bar. But for most sites, a quick right swipe works well!
