We received a free grant from the Microsoft for Nonprofits program (Business Basic), but Microsoft is still attempting to charge SAR 859.99 (approx. $229) from our card, even though the subscription page itself shows Unit price: Free. Why are we being asked to pay if this is a grant?
Approved Microsoft Nonprofit - No Business Basic offers, can’t create support ticket
We are an approved Microsoft Nonprofit organization in Germany. After the July 2025 nonprofit licensing transition our Microsoft 365 Business Premium Donation disappeared. Current situation: Nonprofit status = Approved Global Administrator Custom domain verified No Microsoft 365 Business Basic Nonprofit No Microsoft 365 Business Premium Nonprofit Billing → Purchase Services only shows trial products Cannot create a support ticket (only loops into the virtual assistant) Microsoft phone support redirects us back to the online support portal Has anyone managed to get this resolved or reached the Microsoft Nonprofit Licensing team? BANNEDUSERNAME Has anyone from the Microsoft for Nonprofits team seen this issue? It looks like our tenant lost its nonprofit licensing entitlements.
Nonprofit Business Basic licenses not available after approval
Our nonprofit organization (Baan Vereniging Alkmaar) has been approved through the Microsoft Nonprofit Hub. However, when attempting to claim Microsoft 365 Business Basic nonprofit licenses in the Admin Center (Billing → Purchase services), we receive the error: 'Sorry, your organization is not eligible for this offer.' The nonprofit approval is confirmed but the licenses are not linked to our tenant. Please activate the nonprofit grant licenses for our tenant. I tried to contact by phone (0800 020 2546 given by https://admin.microsoft.com/ for The Netherlands) but the number seems to be offline. After that I tried to create a support ticket at: https://nonprofit.microsoft.com (which trows an error: Error occurred while submitting request. Please try again.) How to proceed?...Non profit grant not showing in Azure
Hi all, We successfully renewed a non profit grant (https://nonprofit.microsoft.com/en-us/offers/azure shows it is active from 30/03/2026), however it is not showing in the Azure portal at all. In the Azure portal, the payment methods tab does not show any credits. Does someone know how to resolve this? I have sent a support request to Microsoft but have no idea of what their timelines are like for responding. thanks
Azure Grant Submission unsuccessful
Our nonprofit was approved under the Microsoft non-profit organization account, and I attempted to sign up for the non-profit grant so we could building our system, but I received the following error message: Your Azure grant submission was unsuccessful. We are being rejected for azure grant
Dear Microsoft, We need help regarding azure grant. I as a founder and representative of non profit association "Ekviti" in Serbia, tried to register our association in Microsoft non profits program. We were accepted, we have emails, subscribed for 9 licenses and all is fine except we are getting rejected for azure grant. I have added all of the documentation we could think of, but we never got what is actually needed? Last answer from support/team for azure grant was: We have been unable to determine your relationship to the nonprofit organization and are unable to process your account for Nonprofit offers. we would appreciate help from Microsoft side to know what should we provide. We are building awesome app that will help build society awareness for helping others and improving life. We are working on it for 4 years and we plan to go live in 1 year, you can check our website https://ekviti.rs/en/. There are 7 of us as board members, all developers, we been working in .net for a 8 years and really enjoy it, this grant would help us achieve our dream in which people are competing to do good, that is what this app is for. Issue with Non-Profit Licenses – Credit Card Required
Hello, Our organization has been accepted into the Microsoft Non-Profit program, and we have been granted 10 donated licenses. However, in order to obtain them, I need to purchase them, even though the cost is 0 euros. I understand this is an administrative process to acquire the licenses. The problem is that the system requires me to enter a credit card. I tried using a prepaid Mastercard, but it was not accepted. Unfortunately, our organization does not have a credit card. Is there any way to obtain these licenses without providing a credit card number? Thank you for your help. Hello Microsoft Support Community, Our organization (Al-Rifqa Organization for Community Peace) has been officially approved for the Microsoft Nonprofit Grant program. We received the confirmation email and successfully logged into the Admin Center using our organization account: **Admin email**: email address removed for privacy reasons However, when we try to access or assign the Microsoft 365 Business Premium Grant license from the Admin Center, we receive this message: **"You are not eligible to buy this product"** We kindly request assistance to resolve this issue so we can begin using the licensed services.
