BSOD unknown cause

Copper Contributor

Hi,

For the last week I've been getting random BSOD with different error codes. They have included the following:

I believe it started with APC_INDEX_MISMATCH. I've also got BUGCODE_NDIS_DRIVER, DRIVER_VERIFIED_DETECTED_VIOLATION (to capture minidumps), CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT_REGISTRY_FILTER_DRIVER_EXCEPTION.

My specs are the following:

Processor 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700K, 3600 Mhz, 12 Core(s), 20 Logical Processor(s)

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080

Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. System Model Z690 AERO G DDR4
OS Name Microsoft Windows 11 Pro

My pc is 6 months old.

I've tried the following:

A computer repair guy did a hard reset of windows 11 and tested all my hardware over a week. He couldn't find the problem. After the reset it worked for an evening then the next day BSOD again. There is no consistency to the BSOD.

I've tried a couple of driver things, tried turning off updates, reupdating windows etc.

Could anyone help?

Thanks,

Check for Corrupted system files. Open Command Prompt as Administrator and type 'chkdsk /f /r' and press Enter. You will be prompted to schedule the check for the next restart. Type Y and restart your computer.
You'd better do a hard reset of Windows 11.
