Microsoft account does not exist

Hello, 

Please i need your help on this issue. 

one of my user is having an issue with his Microsoft account when trying to login to your Microsoft authenticator app. 

When he tries to change the password on his windows laptop it says he should enter a code on his Microsoft authenticator as shown in the screenshot below:

But when he tries to login to your Microsoft authenticator on the mobile phone to get the code it says your Microsoft account does not exist.

You can set-up additional verification method by signing-in to Microsoft account online.

Once you've setup new method, you can try using that for verification.
