I am only an occasional Excel user, not an expert. I would like to know how to construct a formula / if-then function.
This is what I would like to do: link percentages to numbers.
For instance / example:
100000 is 100 %
In cell B2 I have the value 58 that corresponds with 58000
In cell B4 I have the value 42 that corresponds with 42000
B2 + B4 = 100
How do I write a formula in which : IF 42 + 1, THEN 85 -1
or
IF 85 + 1, THEN 42 + 1
In suck a manner that the numbest change automatically by adding or subtracting a value from the cells B2 and / or B4.
