Re: Intune management extension disappears from devices
Hi, yes, the problem on our side was that we configured the false gpos for fresh devices. When you hybrid join new devices via the Autopilot process you mustn't configure a gpo for intune enrollment, otherwise this gpo removes the Intune service. For devices which are already running and which should be hybrid joined without a new installation you need to configure the gpo with the User credential option. Hope this helps.13KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Office templates are not reachable via Content Delivery Network
MaartenBrouwer_EK The problem was in the Microsoft backend and with chached tokens. We could resolve it when we disabled all conditional access policies for some time, let the user work normally and after a day we activated the policies(mfa, some others) again.1.8KViews0likes0CommentsSharepoint Online storage limit decreasing when license is removed
Hey Guys, can someone tell me what happens when e.g. I have 100 licenses in my tenant and currently a sharepoint online storage limit of 2TB and I remove these licenses? Do I loose 1TB of storage limit and my data if my data is also at 2TB stored? If the limit persists, can it be used to simply add 1000 licenses to a tenant, increase the sharepoint storage limit and then remove 900 licenses again and keep the higher limit? Thanks and regards!8.3KViews0likes10CommentsOffice ProPlus Apps crashing constantly
Hi, we are facing since few weeks the problem that Office Apps (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, not Outlook) are constantly crashing for a few users when they try to open a document from Sharepoint Online, similar if it from Teams, Sharepoint or a mapped network drive to a sharepoint library. The eventlog is showing the known error with the mso20win32client.dll file, but all suggestions to fix this problem didn't help unfortinately. Curiously the Office programs are working when the same document ist copied locally on the C: drive^^ We tried scrubbing and reinstalling Office ProPlus from the portal.office.com, several registry keys changing and deleting, user logging out and back in into office, tried different user account within the same windows profile, several Office trust center options and internetoptions for trusted/intranet and internet sites, deleting the registered keys via ospp.vbs and so on. Also this crash happens when docs are opened from a local OneDrive folder but if we disable the OneDrive option "Office Documents sync when opened" documents within OneDrive folder can be opened again. Another workaround is to install an Office ProfessionalPlus 2016 with a dedicated key but this is not a solution our customer wants to implement if this issue spreads through all its employees. Currently 5 people are affected by this heavily which have no common groudn together. Do you have any other ideas or solution for this issue? Thanks and Regards AluOffice templates are not reachable via Content Delivery Network
Hey, I'm facing an issue since months and cannot find any solution to it even with the Microsoft Support so I want to share my problem here. I configured in SharePoint Online a library for using with Office templates, like many times before. So the employees can open e.g. Word then go to New -> customer domain name and see there Office templates there. It was working for some time and then suddenly it stopped working for every employee of my customer with the error message "you are not signed in or your cached credential has expired". This message appears directly under the domain name within the New site in Word. We tried with signing in and out, reinstall Office, completly new installed notebooks, new creation of the template library, permission tests and so and nothing is working. Even stranger is the fact that this functionality is still working when the employees working from their local office but it is not working in any homeoffice working place^^ Of course we checked the conditional access policies and login logs in Azure AD, but no issue can be found there too. Do you have any hint for me? Thanks and Regards2.6KViews0likes3CommentsRemoved libraries are reappearing automatically
Hey, my customer has the problem that in th past synced SharePoint libraries are suddenly reappeared and now are syncing again completly out of nowhere. Even when I unistall OneDrive, delete the registry keys under and several libraries starting to sync after a short time and even the deleted ones just reappearing out of nowhere. It doesn't matter if I desync them via OneDrive App settings or registry deletion. Do you have any ideas or help in this? Thanks and regards1KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Intune management extension disappears from devices

m77ewlHi, yeah, the problem was the switch in the vpn routing table configuration for Distributing gateway routes, this was set to no but after enabling it to yes, it was working^^ Even when you have special routing in place, this switch must be enabled in the vpn routing table. Hope this helps.6.7KViews1like0CommentsIntune management extension disappears from devices
Hey, I encountered a very strange issue with the Intune management extension on my custoemrs hybrid joined devies. Devices are hybrid joined successfully, synced to Azure AD, visible and compliant in Intune, software is installed from Intune and on-premise via gpo, policies are applied and then after some short time the Intune management extension is uninstalled automatically and no Azure AD joined status visible in settings. Via dsregcmd I can see that the device is still joined to both but even after manually isntalling the extension, it is uninstalled again and again. Do you have any ideas regarding this issue? Thanks and regardsRe: SMB over VPN gateway not possible
I tested this with the Microsoft Support and currently the situation is that all traffic is going through the vpn gateway but not something with port 445 or 135, so SMB and DNS and this traffic is not even reaching the vpn gateway tunnel. It is working when coming from on-prem to Azure but only not from the other side even when setting the VM right next to the gateway with nothing in between. SMB is eve nworking from one VM to anthoer VM in a peered network. MS support hat also no clue whats going on there so we deployed a new vpn gateway in the remote network and there SMB is working but this is only temporary and the problem is still not solved atm.7.3KViews0likes2CommentsSMB over VPN gateway not possible
Hi, I have a problem with connecting SMB network shares from an on-premise Server to a VM located in azure over a Site-to-Site VPN and VPN gateway. We tried everything but it seems that these and other protokolls are natively blockeed from the Azure vpn gateway, is this correct? Are there any solutions to this problem or did I miss something in the configuration or connection/authentication? Thanks and regards7.5KViews0likes4CommentsRe: Office ProPlus Apps crashing constantly
Hey, sry for late response, file location was: C:\users\$($user)\appdata\local\Microsoft\Office\16.0\OfficeFileCache Sometimes setting this reg entry helps with this and other autosave issues: HKCU:\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Word\Options -Name 'DontSaveRsid' -value 04.4KViews1like2CommentsRe: Restore mapped company folders
Yes, I'm looking for a method to automatically restore mapped/synced company drives in OneDrive, so when an employee logs in to a new PC, all his formerly added company folders are synced again to his new PC. At the moment you need to go to these company folders in Teams again und click Sync that they are newly added to his OneDrive and this must be done on every new PC from the user.1.5KViews0likes0CommentsRestore mapped company folders
Hey, I'm currently searching for a method to save and restore mapped company folders within a users ODfB when he moves to a new pc. Currently all added company shares just vanish and you need to add all manually again. It's curious that OneDrive doens't save these themself^^ Do you know of any method or script which could help here? Thanks!1.6KViews1like4CommentsConfigure mobile Chrome app with protection policy
Hi, I'm currently trying to implement app protection policies for iOS with the Google Chrome browser as managed app but I can't get the to receive company owned data. I configured an app protection policy with certain MS apps and tried to implement Chrome as customized app (with string: com.google.chrome.ios) and also configured a configuration policy for chrome with the IntuneMAMUPN string, but still I can't send data from a company managed app like Outlook to Chrome? Does anyone know this issue? Is it even possible to set Chrome on mobile devices as company managed app? Thanks and Regards.6.2KViews0likes2Comments
