Forms with Flow
We have a Microsoft Form that when filled out, flows to an email group and responses populate on a SharePoint list (for consumption and further edits by the department). The Flow fails whenever someone fills in too long of a response on "further details" section of the Form (which is set up for long answer). The failure indicates a 255 char max and the responses are over that max... but the person doesn't get an error that their Form submission didn't go through. We indicate on the "Further Details" question that there's a 250 char limit but it doesn't stop people from continuing and thinking their submission went through. What is the best way to handle this?Solved5.8KViews0likes5CommentsTeams Meeting Limitations for VDI Users
We have a large group of Teams users who are using Teams through a VDI session (our frontline workers). It seems like there are a couple things that should be able to be controlled through the Teams admin center or with a setting of some sort but I can't figure it out. Any ideas? When Teams detects that a user is running inside a VDI, they are not able to give control of their screen. The screensharing control is turned on inside the Teams admin center in the policy assigned to our frontline workers, but it still doesn't work inside the VDI. Is there a work around for this? When in a Teams meeting, inside "show device settings," there is no option for VDI users to mute the meeting (the speaker icon disappears). Is there a workaround for this? (situation: they could be in a meeting but able to mute it in order to take other calls, etc - all while inside the VDI). A screenshot is attached of where the referenced speaker icon is typically present inside a meeting. Sincerely appreciative of any help anyone can provide!Re: Highlighted Content Web Part Not Recognizing Columns
Is anyone going to look at this? It's a MAJOR issue for our organization right now as we're building sites, went to all the trouble of tagging everything and its pointless without this feature. Thanks for any help anyone can provide!963Views0likes0CommentsHighlighted Content Web Part Not Recognizing Columns
I'm trying to use the Highlighted Content web part on a page and I am not using custom code. Source: A document library on this site Documents Any Filter: Column Name Department Equals IT I have tried making new columns (+ column) and from columns inside library settings. No matter what kind of column I create, the web part won't recognize it. It just returns all documents - not regarding the column I'm trying to highlight. What am I doing wrong? I have done this before and it worked on other sites. The past 2 sites I've tried this on, it hasn't worked.1.1KViews0likes2CommentsRe: SharePoint Calendar Not Integrating Inside O365 Team for Guest
Kelly_Edinger they are only accessing through the browser, as they don't have Microsoft accounts, only accessing as guests with their regular email. It seems like this might have something to do with it, so I'm hoping there is a workaround. (Sometimes even when I click on the calendar tab, it takes me to the Microsoft login screen again before I can see the calendar on the SharePoint side).1.6KViews0likes1CommentRe: SharePoint Calendar Not Integrating Inside O365 Team for Guest
Kelly_Edinger sorry I should have mentioned this in the original post... but the client can open it with the link in SharePoint... we were trying to consolidate the amount of clicks for them with tabs inside the O365 Team (one tab for a Form, one for PowerBI, and one for this calendar)… but the calendar won't work so they have to use the direct link to see it.1.6KViews0likes3CommentsSharePoint Calendar Not Integrating Inside O365 Team for Guest
We have a Microsoft O365 Team that we share with a client. We did "Open In SharePoint" from the O365 Team, and added a calendar app, so we should share a visual with the client on new product launches. Then from inside the O365 Team, we did the + Website and did the URL to the SharePoint calendar. Everyone internally can see the calendar just fine but our client can't see it... which was the whole point of creating it. They get an error that says "companyname.sharepoint.com refused to connect." At the top, it says "If your site isn't loading correctly, click here" for which they get an identical error. Any ideas?1.7KViews0likes5CommentsRe: News Carousel Does Not Rotate
I figured out the issue but wanted to post a resolution in case anyone else has the same problem. After the carousel option was chosen, no new news articles had been created. As soon as we published another news article, it started rotating!1.4KViews0likes0CommentsNews Carousel Does Not Rotate
Using the News webpart on an O365 communications site and the department wants it to be the rotating carousel view. News source is "recommended for current user." It won't rotate. My coworker can see it rotate in edit mode, and then when it's published it doesn't rotate (I don't see it rotate at all either way though). We have it set to auto-rotate (screenshot attached). Any ideas on reasons why this could be happening?Solved1.4KViews0likes1Comment
