Planner Plan 1 features missing
I'm on a trial of Planner Plan 1 but don't see the features such as Timeline view, project goals or task dependencies. I don't see anything that makes this worth paying a monthly subscription for - is anyone else on this plan able to confirm if they can see these features?
Planner - Need Enterprise Portfolio View
As PMO, I would like to create a Portfolio that shows ALL plans created across the organization --similar to how Project Online has the Project Center. I am a Project Online administrator and am able to see all projects in Project Online Project Center without users having to add me as member of each of their projects. Currently, in Project Online's Project Center, other non-admin users only see projects they have access to. I am looking for a way to get this same functionality I have with Project Center in Planner -- to create a portfolio where PMO can see high level across all plans. Keeping users to only see Plans to which they are part of their team. It seems like in Planner only shows me plans where I am part of the project team (0365 group). As PMO, I want to be able to see all plans. What is the best way to do this? Thank you for your time reading and thinking about potential solutions. Karen
Can't access portfolios solution
We have Planner and project P3. When we try to access My Portfolios from Planner in Teams we get a message that says "Looks like you don't have the latest portfolios solution installed Contact your admin to fix this" I am an admin, but I can't find any way to update portfolios to the latest version. Has anyone been able to access the portfolios feature? If so, how did you get it to work? Thanks, Doug
Hide/Unhide plans
It is impossible to unhide plans once it is chosen "hide". And it is not possible to delete plans. It may be useful to add the delete option, because the list of plans can become long with time. It is also useful to keep of a history of deleted options, so in the future, if needed, we can refind the history of the completed plans to see who was responsible for this plan. It is useful in case of responsability.
Add premium views to a basic plan
We tried to convert a number of basic plans to premium yesterday. In all cases it created a private copy of the Premium plan and kept the basic plan. Was that the expected result? Comments are not migrated to the new plan. Any recurring task creates problems. Anyone else have this experience and a possible solution? Our expectation was to upgrade the existing plan, not to create a copy which leads to administration.
MS Planner board doesn't follow my regional date format
The dates at the Board of my MS planner appear in the US format, e.g. the 25th of July appears as 07/25. This is very confusing in the european environment. I have tried to changed that. I went to https://myaccount.microsoft.com/settingsandprivacy/language and I set the regional date format to 25/07. Unfortunately the board still shows the dates in the US format. Any idea how to fix that?
