MS Planner board doesn't follow my regional date format
The dates at the Board of my MS planner appear in the US format, e.g. the 25th of July appears as 07/25. This is very confusing in the european environment. I have tried to changed that. I went to
https://myaccount.microsoft.com/settingsandprivacy/language and I set the regional date format to 25/07. Unfortunately the board still shows the dates in the US format. Any idea how to fix that?

Hi, I just had success with viewing the planner in the browser with correct date format required. You will need to update your language in your browser settings. e.g. I use Microsoft Edge, so I had to click my picture and select the little cog icon. I went to languages and then I hit the three dots next to English (Australia) and selected Display Microsoft Edge in this language. Now it works. Hope it works for you also.

The only solution I've found so far is to access Planner via Teams. For some reason, that shows my Australian date format, but planner via the browser does not.

The fix would be fine, except it doesn't seem to work with the new URL https://planner.cloud.microsoft/?

Ah, come on Microsoft! Launch a new planner version and remove the quick fix that allowed the rest of the world to see dates in the right format?! Really?! Anyone got another quick fix?

lefterav Microsoft 365 regional options are a complete ****show and get more convoluted every year. There are two main ways to get what you want.
1) look at the URL for your planner, and change the EN-US to the locale you desire, e.g. EN-GB, FR-FR. This will fix all the plans.
2) View the plan via MS Teams. However you need to make sure that your Teams client language setting is not English(US). You will have to do this on every Teams installation on every device because Teams does not follow your Office user settings, or device settings.

Mathew Smethurst-Evans I just came here and can't believe this is an actual problem that can't be fixed. But the URL tip worked. The US date format is absolutely a disaster for non-US people. Honestly, the amount of times I got confused and completed the wrong task is out of this world.

Changing the URL does not work for me: there is no language code in the URL to change.
Having US dates is really confusing. Not having US dates in Teams only confuses things more.
