MS Planner board doesn't follow my regional date format
lefterav Microsoft 365 regional options are a complete ****show and get more convoluted every year. There are two main ways to get what you want.
1) look at the URL for your planner, and change the EN-US to the locale you desire, e.g. EN-GB, FR-FR. This will fix all the plans.
2) View the plan via MS Teams. However you need to make sure that your Teams client language setting is not English(US). You will have to do this on every Teams installation on every device because Teams does not follow your Office user settings, or device settings.

Mathew Smethurst-Evans I just came here and can't believe this is an actual problem that can't be fixed. But the URL tip worked. The US date format is absolutely a disaster for non-US people. Honestly, the amount of times I got confused and completed the wrong task is out of this world.

even better. now with the new "planner" URL, there's no language tag. Fix works in Teams/Planner but not web UI. Come on MSFT!

Changing the URL does not work for me: there is no language code in the URL to change.
Having US dates is really confusing. Not having US dates in Teams only confuses things more.
