Need more labels
We use labels extensively and we are running out. When will Microsoft add more to the 25?

Really need this. Filtering on keyword can be a work around, if everyone remembers to use a standard keyword, but that is not always the case, being that we are fallible. The labels force the use of the correct name to be filtered on, so nothing falls through the cracks. Please add ability to add more custom labels, I don't care if they are the same color, just as long as custom text is available for filtering.
Late to the game on this. We need more labels in our organisation as well. We use Planner to help prioritise applications for permissions to do stuff on government-maintained land. There are many priorities and factors to applications, including locations, species, activities, applicants, and government priorities that mean we have quickly run out of tags.
Come on Microsoft, this is an absolute must-have. Get on it already. Will, ya, please?
Additional labels are essential. I'm surprised there's a limit of only 25. Other planning software seems to offer an unlimited number of labels or tags.
- Yes. We need more labels too. We're currently using this to manage our in-house IT development and operations and we have tons of projects for which we need a label and also their stages. 25 is way too less.
we need more labels as well, we have about 50 vendors and we would like to have a label for each vendor to attach to their tasks, Microsoft please let the user be able to create more labels. MichaelatWeighedAgo
Likewise, we need more labels! We use a label for each of our client. Once we established a template for all the steps of each client project we duplicate it for each successive client. We can certainly clear and then reuse each fiscal year, but the constraint of only 25 labels means we have to delete and reuse (rename and then reassign) a label in the current fiscal year. We are finding this tool very helpful, but need more labels to maximize the effectiveness. Should be an easy fix MS engineering!
- our team also needs more labels. we need the ability to pick a custom color. We want to use planner to map out the layout process of our magazine and we need to visually see if any colors (via labels) conflict with each other.
- I'm looking for an alternative to google workspace. Planner fits my requirements for a small business. But without labels I don't see a way to track or filter tasks schedule for 20+ different clients.
