Office Portal OneDrive URL not updated after name change

1 week ago updated the UPN of a user because of a last name change. When user attempts to click on OneDrive via Office Portal it directs to the URL containing the previous last name.

OneDrive functions OK with local app on laptop and with Teams. Also, when I am in O365 Admin Portal and click on Create Link to Files for the user it creates the expected link with the new last name.

Exact same Issue. Besides, we do this for all our accounts, it concerns only few of them, so it seems to be randomly happening.
Hence for these users, they have a 404 clicking OneDrive button from Office.com. They have to type themselves the correct magic url in order to access onedrive Online.
