locked out

I am an Office 365 small business subscriber and am the administrator. Following a recent software update on my laptop, I was logged out of Office 365 (all components and apps: Office, One Drive, the Admin dashboard etc). When I tried to log back in, I was asked for a verification code, which was sent to a mobile number I no longer have. There was no other option for receiving a verification code. And as I have no access to the settings panel, I can't do anything about it. I have tried calling support and have had three conversations with the team. On each occasion they told me to expect a callback from the data protection team. This call has not come, and I still can't access my account. Has anyone else managed to resolve a similar one? Thanks

If you're locked out and you don't have another authentication method set up, nor another admin in your organization or 'break glass' account configured, you are kind of stuck I'm afraid. The official support has to help out here.
