Extracting Device and Participation Details in Microsoft Teams
Hi everyone, I am working on a project for my organization to extract detailed information about Teams calls. Specifically, I need to gather data on the devices used by participants, as well as their join and leave times for each Teams meeting. This includes both participants and organizers. My current approach involves: 1. Using Microsoft Graph API to access call and participant data. 2. Fetching relevant details such as device type, join time, and leave time. - What are the best practices for extracting and managing this data? - Are there any specific API endpoints or techniques you recommend for efficiently retrieving this information? - How can I ensure the accuracy and completeness of the data collected? - Are there any tools or libraries that can simplify this process? Looking forward to your insights and experiences! Thanks in advance for your help!saumyaa0807Dec 19, 2024Copper Contributor13Views1like1CommentOrganization Chart in the new Microsoft Teams

I have a user on New Teams that repeatedly has trouble with screens being shared in meetings by other people showing up as a Green Blocky mess on her end. So far we have cleared cache, uninstalled and reinstalled New Teams, updated graphics drivers, tested her internet connection (measured at 300Mbps down by 35Mbps Up and she is the only user on it) performed normal system maintenance (SFC, D.I.S.M, CHKDSK), and restarts galore. No luck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.43Views0likes0CommentsTeams channels for internal use in our team
Hello Please i need your help on this issue. We at Kompetensnätverk Stockholm use Teams channels for internal use in our team and with contractors that runs networks with their members. Each network also have their own Teams channel for the members and during the latest weeks channels have suddenly dissapeared. And then they come back suddenly but we never know when. And the tab"Files" also just vanishes for some of our contractors sometimes and then pops back in the channel. Whats's going on? Teams have been very shaky lately.John1055Dec 19, 2024Copper Contributor21Views0likes1CommentTeams app window keeps jumping back to main Window
I'm using three monitors, on one monitor I usually have the Teams app window. That monitor is not my main display. I can move the Teams app windows to any of my three monitors and it stays there but as soon as I switch focus to the Teams app windows it pops back to my main display. Very annoying. Anyone experienced this behavior?SolvedDaniel PerssonDec 19, 2024Brass Contributor23KViews12likes16CommentsTeams Room (Crestron UC) cannot join an ongoing discussion, unless there's a gap of silence.
This should be a fun discovery, we just found the captioned issue happened to one of our clients' sites, all of their Teams Room have the same problem. When the room's Teams Room app is going to join an ongoing Teams meeting, and at the same time there's participants having a discussion in the meeting, the newly joined Teams Room app would not be able to contribute in the discussion after it successfully joins the meeting. The Teams Room app would not show the microphone as muted, neither it will highlight the Teams Room camera view to indicate "speaking" status. You can talk and talk in the Teams Room room but you won't be able to interupte the ongoing discussion until, there's a gap of silence appears, for just a few seconds, around 5s, if you grap this chance to speak up, you would be able to speak for the first time since your joining. And from that moment, everything will be normal, you won't lose your voice for the second time. Please note, I'm not talking about if you joined the meeting as the 5th partcipant, or with even greater number of total participants. We are talking about a total of 3 participants only. If you joined as the 3rd participant, you'll encounter the problem. There're two key requirements to repeat the symptom: You join with the Team Room app, not Personal Teams; The people already in the meeting, need to speak/make sound when you first join the meeting and try to speak for the first time. I also ruled out result of AEC by only using headsets in the meeting. I have video record of the issue for easier understanding, and I have conducted similar tests with different sets of Crestron UC, in different rooms, even tested on a newly restored set of Teams Room. I'm planning to do similar test with other brands of Teams Room equipment, just to compare. Please feel free to share your experience in similar issue. I'm dying to find out the reason behind it.18Views0likes0CommentsCreate single temporary voicemail for all Teams Voice users
