Queue App - historical agent information
We have recently introduced Teams Queue application , it works well but doesn't seem to provide the same information for historical reporting than real time. As an example: We are able to see the number of calls presented to each agent within the group as it happens (today), It shows us all the presented, the number answered, abandoned or timed out in real time, to ensure the correct number of resource is aligned this is essential. It doesn't however, show this data historically, to see an overall number of calls answered, abandoned or timed out per agent for a specific date period. The historical data only seems to provides generic information for the call queue as a whole, not the agents opted in, even when extracted into an excel report. Is there a way to get this data historically ? or is it just not yet available. Without, we are reliant on daily Screen pics of agent impact, which is not very good! (It is also not available within the PowerBI reporting, only calls answered are documented here)Louise JansenMar 10, 2025Copper Contributor146Views0likes6CommentsChanging Notification Settings for all users on a Team
Is there a way to change the notification settings for everyone that is part of a Team Channel? In other words... we have a channel in our Teams chat that we want everyone to receive notifications for whenever there is a reply in that channel. I don't mind using PowerShell or whatever I need to use in order to achieve this. We just want everyone on the team to receive notifications for all replies in a channel. Background: We attempted to migrate a client group to Teams in order to enable functionality with our Office 365 setup. We have an app for them to use, and we have a Site that we share files on, etc. This group of people are newer to technology, so having everything be user-friendly is a must. The problem came up that nobody was receiving notifications for replies in the Team channels. They are only used to SMS text messaging and group texting, so they want to use the channels similarly to group texts. The group ended up switching back to texting because its easier for them to use. We need them to switch to Teams, so we want to fix this issue for them and make things as easy as possible.SolvedReylin4Mar 10, 2025Brass Contributor200KViews7likes35CommentsMS Teams Video quality is terrible
I am a MS fan for the most part, but you guys need to fix this Teams video quality issue. Our teams have been using it for weeks now and people are regularly getting blurry and poor audio / video quality. We have been pushing people to Teams for the collaboration, etc, but they are pushing back to use Zoom. Here is a video I put together showing this issue. Please MS fix this asap. https://youtu.be/aW3U16OKTiASolvedjsquaredzMar 10, 2025Brass Contributor289KViews6likes39CommentsMoving from skype to teams does not migrate my chat history

Hello Everyone, While installing Microsoft Teams, the error message described in the subject line is thrown. Am running Microsoft Windows Version - 1909 A couple of troubleshooting tips found on https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/MicrosoftTeams/troubleshoot-installation have been tried but the error still shows up. Any idea on how to resolve this issue will be greatly appreciated. UPDATES I did a comparison of 2 SquirrelSetup.log files. (Both PC runs Windows 1909 and the same build number. The PC 1(Throwing up the JavaScript error above)logged some issues not found in the PC 2 as shown below: ----start---- ApplyReleasesImpl: Couldn't run Squirrel hook, continuing: C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Teams\current\Teams.exe: System.OperationCanceledException: The operation was canceled. at System.Threading.CancellationToken.ThrowOperationCanceledException() at Squirrel.Utility.<>c__DisplayClass11_0.<InvokeProcessAsync>b__0() at System.Threading.Tasks.Task.InnerInvoke() at System.Threading.Tasks.Task.Execute() --- End of stack trace from previous location where exception was thrown --- at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.ThrowForNonSuccess(Task task) at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.HandleNonSuccessAndDebuggerNotificat ion(Task task) at Squirrel.Utility.<InvokeProcessAsync>d__11.MoveNext() --- End of stack trace from previous location where exception was thrown --- at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.ThrowForNonSuccess(Task task) at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.HandleNonSuccessAndDebuggerNotificat ion(Task task) at Squirrel.UpdateManager.ApplyReleasesImpl.<>c__DisplayClass18_1.<<invokePostInsta ll>b__2>d.MoveNext() ---end---- FURTHER UPDATES Many suggestions found on GitHub, Microsoft support site, blogs and other websites have been tried. So after spending several hours googling and searching for a working solution, the following finally worked on the PC in question. A standard user account was created on the PC. Downloaded a new Microsoft teams app. In services.msc, the status of a service called Quality Windows Audio Video Experience was also manually started. Executed the app and no JavaScript error was thrown. N.B: I am still not satisfied with this fix, cos i applied the same troubleshooting approach on another PC throwing up the same JavaScript error, and the fix doesn't work on it. 🙂Solved201KViews1like11CommentsTeams room reservation setting
Hello, Not sure if anyone has encountered the same dilemma as I have, but I can't seem to locate this Teams Room reservation setting anywhere. I've check on both the Teams admin portal setting & the device setting. I have basic & pro license and still do not see this feature anywhere. Device: MaxHub XCoreKit Teams app: TMicrosoft managed rooms 5.24.14101.0 This is for Panel setting but we only have a touchscreen console in the room. Settings > Device settings > Teams admin settings > Meetings and then turn off Allow room reservations. Can't find the below option (stock img). Let me know if you need anything else. Thank you!Jimmy335Mar 09, 2025Copper Contributor21Views1like1CommentTeams desktop app not observing daylight savings time
I'm currently having an issue with my Teams. I'm in the Mountain time zone, which recently switched to daylight savings. My system clock (Windows 10) has updated correctly, but Teams still believes it's behind an hour, despite multiple restarts. This only seems to occur with the desktop app. The web app has the correct time. What can be done to fix this? Everything I've read suggests that it uses the system time/timezone, but that appears to be incorrect, otherwise my Teams would have the correct time. What's interesting is that when I check the teams logs at 15:21, I see this: Mon Mar 09 2020 14:21:18 GMT-0700 (GMT-07:00) <17724> -- info -- Focusing main window Mountain Daylight time is GMT-0600, which is my current system timezone when you adjust for daylight savings. Why is Teams is using the unadjusted GMT-0700 instead?rpetti_otMar 09, 2025Copper Contributor42KViews3likes13CommentsTeams Room System Autopilot deployment does not work - Error Code: 6, 0x80180014
Problem: We are attempting to deploy our Microsoft Teams Room (MTR) systems, some of which are already in use, using Windows Autopilot in self-deploying mode. Despite following the official guide, we keep encountering errors. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/rooms/autopilot-autologin Procedure: Device: Certified Intel NUC, previously in use. Installation: Windows 11 Pro installed. Autopilot Import: Device imported into Autopilot. Group Assignment: GroupTag "MTR-ConsoleName" assigned. Dynamic Group: Device appeared in the Dynamic MTR group. Assignments: Deployment Profile and ESP (Enrollment Status Page) assigned. Teams Room Update App: Deployed via Intune, assigned to the MTR group, and integrated into the ESP. LAPS: Local Administrator Password Solution (LAPS) is active. Teams Rooms Pro Console: Device appeared and was assigned to a resource account with a Teams Room Pro license. Error Description: After the setup process, we consistently encounter an error during device registration for mobile management: Error Code: 6, 0x80180014 Attempts to resolve the issue: Deleted the device completely from Intune and Autopilot and re-added it. Created a custom Device Restriction Policy to allow all devices in the group. Additionally, during one attempt where the error did not occur, Teams failed to set up automatically. Questions: Why does error 6, 0x80180014 occur during device registration for mobile management? Are there specific requirements or settings beyond the official guide that need to be considered? What steps can be taken to ensure that Teams sets up automatically when the registration error does not occur? Objective: We aim to ensure that the MTR systems are smoothly deployed via Autopilot in self-deploying mode and that Teams sets up automatically. Hi all, Not sure if anyone is having the same issue but recently, we notice that the Teams Public Preview toggle box is unticking automatically and every morning I need to ticked back again not to mention, that I've notice is going back to the "classic" settings where chats and teams are separated. The only around is to quit teams and reopen and it goes back to the new streamline chats & channels all in one place. Also, just this week alone I got about 4 updates on Teams, any seem the same behaviour?JeniferZOrdonezMar 07, 2025Copper Contributor67Views0likes1CommentRandom message saying Q&A enabled sent to co-organisers only on Town Hall event.
Hi all, just had an update message sent to my co-organisers, stating that Q&A had been enabled. The event has been set up and published for a week, with no amendments to the event at any time. Is there a reason for this, it seems to coincide with our companies Windows 11 roll-out. Thanks 1081JB1081JBMar 07, 2025Copper Contributor7Views0likes0Comments
