Cannot delete unsolicited group chat from a group from which I removed myself
Since 2022 I have intermittently attempted to remove an unsolicited group chat message sent to me when I was added to a group chat I did not desire to join. During my most recent efforts I posted this thread to answers.microsoft.com. There a Microsoft Agent/Moderator recommended I post a discussion here, to "see if any of the Teams experts can come up with some ideas." I have attempted to delete this group chat message using the Teams Windows app, mobile app, and the Teams web app. None of these were successful. I have uninstalled the Teams Windows app from my laptop and have run Revo Uninstaller. But when I reinstall the Teams app, the group chat is still there. I am unfamiliar with what data having to do with my chats is synced with the cloud, but I suspect that is the source of this problem. But I can find no means of deleting any chats that are synced to the cloud. If there is a means to do so, I'd like to try that. In any case, I am open to any solutions those here at techcommunity.microsoft.com can offer. To sum up: In 2022 I was added by "Unknown User" to a group chat that I did not desire to be part of. I removed myself from the chat but immediately found I could not actually remove the chat from Teams. As you can see in the image below, there's nothing in the left-hand Chat pane that I can use to delete the chat. I can find no other link, menu, or other tool with the Teams UI to delete the chat. I have deleted the local cache at %userprofile%\appdata\local\Packages\MSTeams_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Microsoft\MSTeams I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Teams application. I have uninstalled using Revo Uninstaller and then reinstalled the Teams application. In all instances, this group chat message remains.Multiple versions of teams
Hi everyone, hope you're doing well, actually in my job, we want update/delete the old versions of Microsoft Teams, we reviewed on a MDE Software inventory and we had a multiple versions, for example: The regkey of the latest version is located on: HKEY_USERS\localuser\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Teams The regkey of the older version is located on:HKEY_USERS\Administrator\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Teams So, has anyone been able to solve this issue?
"Early Access through Public Preview"???
Trying to get access to Teams Public Preview. My admin has created and assigned to me a new Teams update policy ("Public Preview"). We've tried the "Users can opt in" and "On for users in Current Channel (Preview)" over the last few days but with no success. Am now testing the "On for everyone" setting for this policy, but still showing Early Access through Targeted Release... Any suggestions greatly appreciated... I have set up Teams Telephonie with Auto Attendant. I have added Authorized Users. I have setup a Voice application policy, allowed the necessary functions and assigned it to the authorized users. Those Authorized Users are now able to set the greetings messages of the Auto Attendant through the Teams App (Configuration, Calls). However, there seems no way to allow the autorized users to change vacation times and vacation greeting messages. Where can authorized users do this?
Microsoft Teams Direct routing and external contacts
When external contacts are added or synced they are shown as telephone numbers instead of the name associated with it. Amongst others this is the case under quick dial. If you go to recent calls it's shown as the name. Tested on an xcover totally locked down, teams in a work profile on another android device. This is not the case on an iPhone SE 3 with company portal with teams. There under quick dials and contacts it's shown as the name of the external contacts. As you might imagine this is going to pose quite the hassle to our users that have to call with non organisation external contacts. Please advice :-)
Green Blocky Glitch on Shared Screen in New Teams Meeting
I have a user on New Teams that repeatedly has trouble with screens being shared in meetings by other people showing up as a Green Blocky mess on her end. So far we have cleared cache, uninstalled and reinstalled New Teams, updated graphics drivers, tested her internet connection (measured at 300Mbps down by 35Mbps Up and she is the only user on it) performed normal system maintenance (SFC, D.I.S.M, CHKDSK), and restarts galore. No luck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Extracting Device and Participation Details in Microsoft Teams

MS teams give/take control option not available
I have an strange issue , i am not able to give or take control on my MS teams in citrix Virtual desktop. MS teams meeting policy allowing me to give or take control for internal users,virtual desktop is hardware accelerated, can anyone tell me what i am missing here.
