Organize data by numbers

I'm a novice with Excel. I have a sheet with data from all of our clients. I need an easy to way filter out clients from other departments. I have a list of all the clients I need to look at, but no way to mass search them... Is there a way to add a ton of info into the search function so I only see specific client information?

Excel's filter feature is quite capable. If you give use some insight into the layout of your data, someone might be able to provide specific advice.
