Network Connection Error in Excel

I get the following error when trying to access Help in Excel.

Sorry, something went wrong. Please check your network connection and try again.

My wireless network is fine. I get internet access on my laptop and iPhone, so I know it is not my home network.

Any known issues?

I found this online and it fixed the Excel Help issue for me.

I solved with following:

by clicking File then Options>Trust Center>Trust Center Settings...>ActiveX Settings and disable Safe mode

restart office and it works
