I export a file into Excel, it's saved as an .xlsx file. Then I email it to someone and when they open it, all the numbers that were there have changed to all $0.00's. How come and what can I do to fix this?

What values are there when you view the file?

It's a standard P & L with numbers (dollar amounts) in every category.

Without the file this is almost impossible to answer I'm afraid. Does the 'someone' in question have access to possible other resources the file requires, like add-ins, external links, external data connections? Does the user have its Excel set to automatic calculation?
