hello group, I am new to this group and not too experienced in formulas.
I am trying to add a column on my excel sheet to calculate a new total by adding 3% from a total net amount, can anyone advise please?

If you attach some sample it'll be easier to help with concrete formula. In general the are like =SUM(A1:A10) for total and =A11*1.03 to increase the total on 3%.

I have attached a sample
I wish to add 3% to the column G (net total) and show this total in column I
I hope that makes sense
Thanks
Liz

thank you @Sergei Baklan
I think my problem is there are already formulas on the spreadsheet and it does not like it when I try to add another I think I will need to start with a fresh excel sheet.
thank you again

In your sample there were no any formulas in this column. But if they are, perhaps it's better to modify them for receiving desired result.
