Re: Microsoft Bookings for small holiday accommodations businesses
Hi Micha - Hotel reservations in Bookings are a bit tricky, because your clients would need to book separately each day they want to stay. You would need to create 13 "services" which would equate to each room and make them bookable "per day" in the "Default duration" when creating the service. Hope this helps!8KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Bookings not recognising Free/Busy time
Hi REDzero5 - Sorry you are having issues. Could you please confirm a couple of things? 1. You are one of staff members selected to be able to perform the services - This means that when you go to "Services", in the "Assigned staff" your name is there. 2. Your Office 365 account you use in Outlook and the account used to access Bookings are the same 3. In "Staff", when you edit your name/user, the box for "Events on Office calendar affect availability" Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks!20KViews1like6CommentsRe: Setting reservation limits per service
Hi Kreera_House - there is no plan to add the ability to blocking an account from being added. That being said, adding a free account as a guest to a Bookings page does not grant any permission to that account towards the Bookings calendar, so they can't perform any change/update in the Bookings page nor access to any resource from your tenant. Hope this helps with yoru Qs.9.3KViews0likes1CommentRe: Unable to use web version Calendar with recent updates
katieisrael If you have selected two calendars in Outlook on the web, then go to the top-right corner, and click on the drop down menu next to "Day/Work week/Week/Month" and select "Split view". That should allow you to see two calendars.888Views0likes1CommentRe: Pick from list of Bookings sites
Hi Anne - You are seeing the correct pop up window but since you don't have a search option, that drives me to believe that there is only one booking calendar in your tenant. Could you try and create another and then see if the search box appears? Thanks!1.5KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Pick from list of Bookings sites
Hi Anne - Thanks for your question! The only way for a user to go back to previously created booking pages is for them to click on "Open" in the Home page under the drop down menu in the name of the booking page. Once they do that, they can search for their booking pages in a pop-up window. Hope this helps!
Gracias!4.3KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Export more data as TSV
Hi Geoff - Thanks for your feedback! We are addressing this and we hope to have it working by Monday as we do some fixes in the backend. Please, let me know if you are still running into this next week, sorry for any inconvenience this may have brought to you. Thanks!7.1KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Business Apps (Free) with Bookings not working
Hi Michael - Sorry you are having issues, let's see if I can help you. 1. Is Bookings enabled for your org? Admin center/Services & add-ins/Bookings 2. the Business Apps (free) add-on shows up as "Purchased" in Home/Billing/Purchase services 3. The Business Apps (free) add-on shows up in the "Product linceses" for the user that is trying to use Bookings One more thing to keep in mind. Although user 1 can create a Bookings calendar, that doesn't mean user 2 can access it, so the first time each user goes into Bookings they will be asked to "Start" a new Bookings calendar. Hope this helps but please, let me know if doesn't. Thanks!5.4KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Bookings management reports or ability to extract data
Hi Jan - Thanks for your interest in Bookings and your question. Bookings has limited capabilities for reporting, and does it only on a rolling 30 days for the entire business not per staff member. We are working to make our reporting better and you can support this idea in UserVoice by upvoting it. Thanks!6.6KViews1like1CommentRe: Assign Service to Day of the Week
Hi Alastair - Thanks for sharing your solution! I am glad you were able to make it work. The best way to recommend/ask for features is to post them directly into the Bookings Uservoice channel - https://outlook.uservoice.com/forums/314907-microsoft-bookings The team prefers to hear directly from customers and this way, they are able to prioritize their work if other customers upvote your idea. Thanks!2.9KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Bookings URL
Hi Leslie, Thanks for your questions! Let me try to answer them. 1. I would recommend that you create a new booking page with the updated name. This is the easiest way, and since you can create as many booking pages as you want, there is no extra cost. 2. Yes. You can create a booking page for each of your staff members and each would have its own URL. Just click on the drop down menu next to your booking page and you'll see an option for "new". Remember the name you enter when you create the new booking will be in the URL. Once you create it, if your staff members are in Office 365, you can add them as administrators and they can manage it, or if you want to manage it, just add them as viewers. If they are not in Office 365, then add them with a free Outlook.com account and set them as "guest". Hope this helps! Gabriel.40KViews1like12CommentsRe: Assign Service to Day of the Week
Hi Alastair, Thanks for your question! There is a way to do what you want but it requires a workaround. 1. Create 2 staff members (I.e. Staff 1: Provides Monday service), this can be done with a free Outlook.com account 2. Assign each service only to one staff member 3. Set the availability of each staff to mimic the service day 4. In the "Services" tab, assign the respective staff member to the service By doing this, you make sure that only one of the staff members can perform the service and since that staff member will only be available on Mon or Wed, the service can only be performed on those days. Also, it seems you have already done this, but make sure that your "Business hours" in "Business information" are set to only Mon and Wed. Let me know if this helps! Gabriel.2.9KViews0likes3Comments
