Drop Down List Updates

I have created a drop down list that references a column range in a table.  When I add or delete from the table, the drop down list doesn't update.  Based on documentation, as long as the column is part of a table the drop down list should update.  How do I make this work?

My suspicion is that you don't have an actual Excel Table. It may be something that looks like a table, but isn't being recognized as such. See the attached spreadsheet. You can add rows to that table and the drop down in the yellow cell WILL reflect the added rows
