Alphabetizing list of names with apostrophes, hyphens

Trying to alphabetize a phone list for my company and some of the names contain apostrophes ("O'Leary") or hyphens ("Al-Khaddab"). The sort feature does not put these names in the correct order. How can I get it to do that?

Hi Joey, I think you can be helped. With a few little ticks, the sorting should work the way you want. But please tell us, what is the right order? Can you create a small example document and specify the desired sort order? That would make it much easier to help. Do you have the SORT() function in your Excel? That would simplify a lot.
