Custom Number Formats

Hi there

I'm trying to set up a number format where all numbers are in black and comma separated with negative number appearing in brackets and zero values showing as a dash.

Simple enough but the custom format I've written doesn't seem to work. All my negatives are still red.

My format looks like this: 

#,##0.00;(#,##0.00);-

For the avoidance of doubt, I've also tried 

#,##0.00;[Black](#,##0.00);-

but with no joy.

Can anyone suggest what I can do to fix this?

Your number format works as desired for me.

Try clearing the format of the target cells and reapply  the number format to see if that works.
