Microsoft Project Service Core Jan 2026 Update locked Plans table
We recently noted the Microsoft Project Service Core was updated to 1.0.161.1772: This update has locked our Plans table, no changes are allowed to the forms and creating new columns is greyed out: We cannot make use of Planner in our model driven app (Planner Premium, non-default environment). After a new Plan is created, the user receives this message when opening the Plan: Two days ago we were in this version 1.0.160.2874): and everything was working as expected. Any guidance would be much appreciated as we are not sure if this is a permanent lock or once the update cycle is completed we will be able to go back to edit Plan forms and columns. Thank you in advance
"Read Only" Error for Existing Premium Board showing as converting to Prem
We have a 2 Planner Premium boards that continue to give an error message within the TEAMs channel as "This plan is being converted to premium. You can view it now, and come back later to edit it." It is saved as a shortcut at the top of the channel, this way message within the card can be posted. A few problems with the ERROR: The Board was converted to Premium months ago. It has remained in this status for days now, when we originally converted it took 5 mins. When searching, Planner now shows multiple versions of this board. Trying to determine if this is a glitch in the matrix or potentially a user issue. Since we can not validate the history on an entire board, thought is may be an output due to the many changes taking place in Prem. We resolved by removing from Teams and then adding a duplicate version and it seems to work, for now.
Unable to get to group or group settings anymore in Planner
I have a planner project assigned to a group and used to be able to access the 'group settings in outlook' and adjust these but that option was taken away. Now i am supposed to navigate to the group in outlook but my group is not visible there so I cannot adjust any of these settings. Do you know how to get visibility back to the group to access the group settings? Thanks for any insight!Is there a way to define separate storage location for each plan
I have a Microsoft SharePoint modern team site, and from there we can create new plans, as follow:- currently when we attach a document to any task, the file will get stored inside the default Documents library root folder. my question is if we can change this behavior so we can define the storage location for a plan to be a specific document library or a specific folder within a library? Thanks
