Gift card creation

I am trying to create a gift card.  I have created a Word document on a Mac using 365.  I chose a snow scene as background.  I imposed prose on top of the scene.  How do I make the prose transparent so that the snow scene shows through?

I've been down that creative road, too (when doing the voucher at gift card software). You might want to explore the "Text Fill" options in Word – there's usually a transparency slider you can adjust to let that snow scene shine through. Play around with it a bit, and you'll find that sweet spot where your prose and snowy backdrop create a beautiful harmony.
