BSOD/Intel Driver Update/Can't Install Update Windows 11 Insider Preview (10.0.26058.1400) KB5036080

Copper Contributor

I'm on build 26058 release 240209-1553. I have continually been getting BSOD errors that I researched and believed to be related to outdated Intel Wifi Drivers on my Surface Pro 9. I updated the Intel drivers and continue to have the same error.

Windows Update is also saying I have an update available for Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Insider Preview (10.0.26058.1400) (KB5036080). It downloaded and attempted to install and gave me the error screen/undoing changes during installation. Now it's stuck at downloading 100% and never installs.

Any advice besides a clean install?

Thanks ya'll.

Are you facing this issue in Safe Mode too?

Where is the feedback hub? I tried to get support through the Get Help option and they referred me to here because they do not provide support for Insider releases.

If you open start and search for feedback, then you will see application called Feedback Hub app.
Have you tried Safe Mode?
