How to Fix it QuickBooks Intuit Data Protect is Not Working after latest updates?

I am experiencing an issue with QuickBooks Intuit Data Protect (IDP) not working. The backup process fails, and I receive error messages such as "Intuit Data Protect backup failed" or "IDP has stopped working." How can I troubleshoot and resolve this problem to ensure my data is backed up correctly?

If QuickBooks Intuit Data Protect is not working after the latest updates, try the following steps:

  1. Ensure your QB software and Intuit Data Protect are up to date.
  2. Restart your computer and try again.
  3. Check your internet connection.
  4. Run QB as an administrator.
  5. Reinstall Intuit Data Protect.
