Only allow users to submit responses and NOT ALLOW edit
Hello All, Hopefully everyone is doing great. I created a form and sent it to my colleage for testing. I notice that she can open up the form but it also allows her to edit the form. Hi All, we are looking to see if we can use Microsoft Forms to track meeting attendance. This is going to be used by physicians which needs super easy adoptability. How do I built a process where they can easily fill out a form repeatedly after each meeting. There are probably going to be 6-20 meetings. Is this a good idea? Anyone has done this? Dear Microsoft Community, This has been an ongoin issue for years. Although we used to get the VBL7.dll ERROR now no error is present but occasionally the file for whatever reason becomes corrupt. What typically happens is that all of the code just dissappears. I see my code modules but there is no code in there, its like Excel just wipes everything out. We have a backup process, a macro, that runs ever 20 minutes to backup the file since this file is highly sensitive. But this process failed. We recovered the file from the backup but unfortunately we had done some work so we had to re enter everything in there. This happens from time to time and we cannot explain the trigger or why it happens. It is a nuisance since for one its a highly sensitive file and two it causes us re-work. Has anyone ever seen this? So I was just in the office with our VP to teach them how to move about in SharePoint. When we did a search in one of the Document Libararies for the word lets say Smith. Nothing came back. All the files are named with the following standard 1111111_Smith. So then I did a Smith* using a wild card and then I got results back. When I go to my PC at my desk and I do the same exact thing and type in Smith without the wild card it retreives everything with the word smith. I did not require a wild card. Has anyone ever seen this before? Is this part of the problem.Turn a SharePoint List into a Line Graph
I have a rather small sharepoint list that I want to turn into a nice Line Graph with labels. I used the chart component but it doesnt format well to the 4 decimal places and does not add the dollar sign. That was my first thought but maybe there is something else. I do not have a POWERBI license so that goes out the window as well. Any other options that I have? thanks community!Embed Power Virtual Agent Advice
I am playing with embedding a SharePoint Bot to be a personal assistant but when I embed it, it just looks huge! How do I embed the bot and put it off to the side without it being huge or intrusive to the rest of the SharePoint site. Rob, is there an easy way to have them use this in a mobile environment. We have this software they use to enter their call pay and directorship and they love it. I told them that I think Microsoft Forms works well in the mobile environment. Do you have any tips to roll it out to them in a mobile environment so they don't have to think too much? SharePoint integration should not be an issue since I already built a compensation site for our department. I just need to make it so that they do not have to think or find where it is since they are physicians and they are all busy and do not want to make giant leap to use it.Accidently Deleted Items with A Flow How to Restore the whole list
I unintentionally deleted a few items in a sharepoint list with a flow when I was trying to move items from one list to another with a flow based off a status change. I basically went to the top right of the page clicked on Members and then proceeced to search for the individual and added as a member. I did add it literrally less than 1 minute before I walked up to her desk and showed her how to navigate throught he site. So maybe I just need to be patient. I just never seen anything like it so I got a bit worried. It usually workes well and I love that search engine! 🙂SharePoint Search Not working for New User
I just gave a user access to our SharePoint site. I was just at their desk and I asked them to do a serach as I was boasting how awesome SharePoint list. To my surprise, nothing was returning. When I open up the SharePoint site on my PC everything works flawlessly but for her nothing is working. Does it take a while for the indexing process to happen when a new user is added? I guess I have never seen that and the only thing I can think of is SharePoint is need to build some stuff in the background for her in order for the search to work? No idea just throwing some stuff out there but maybe someone can comment on this?
