Deploy fonts via GPO
Hi Everyone, We have recently purchased a package that contains fonts for the marketing team. These need to be distributed throughout the organisation. What is the best way to deploy this to every computer? I've tried to follow a few GPO steps but it does not seem to work for me. 1. Edit 'Fonts Installation' GPO and navigate to: User Configuration > Preferences > Windows Settings > Files 2. Create New File: Right click > New > File 3. In Source file(s), enter location of the file 4. In Destination File: C:\Windows\Fonts\Orkney Bold Italic.tff 5. Click OK 1. Navigate to User Configuration > Preferences > Windows Settings > Registry 2. Create New Registry Item with the following attributes: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts Value Name: [name of the font] (TrueType) e.g. Orkney Bold Italic (TrueType) Value type: REG_SZ Value data: Orkney Bold Italic.ttf 3. Click OK This does not seem to work for me. I've managed to get the font to appear in the registry using the method above but it does not appear within the font selection itself? Hi Everyone, I'm quite new with using Intune, I was trying to figure out if there was a way that I could create a conditional access policy which would allow a device that has been enrolled, the ability to access office online applications (word online, excel etc)? At the moment the organisation has a conditional access policy that prevents users from outside the organisation, access to desktop versions of the applications such as outlook unless I add them to the exclusion list. The same goes for mobile access, users added to the excluded list/group will be able to have office applications on their mobile devices. I would like a conditional access policy for enrolled windows devices (laptops/PCs) so that they are able to access office online applications only, is this possible and what would be the best way to go about it? I forgot to mention, the device should be able to access the applications from any location. ThanksMoved subfolder from original location

Hi everyone, I have two users within the company that seem to be running into an issue each time they try to access the public folders. They receive the following message: Cannot expand the folder. The set of folder cannot be opened. Microsoft Exchange is currently busy. If this message is still displayed in 30 minutes, contact your Exchange Administrator. I have assigned the same public folder access to myself and it seems to work fine for me. I cannot seem to find the public folder within the owa version of outlook either, for the users in question. I have removed the user's access and waited for about 2 hours, reapplied access to the folder and still nothing. Hi Everyone, I have a user within the organisation that has moved a file from a folder to a newly created folder. They seem to have lost track of where they had originally transferred the file from (original folder location). Is there a way I could find out where the original file location? Hi All, I have been trying to install a scanner (fujitsu fi 7160) I have downloaded the relevant driver from the fujitsu website. Everything has been connected. Windows seems to pick up the device under printers and scanners but when I try to use the scanner itself within windows fax & scan or the Scan app from the Microsoft store, it does not seem to detect it. It detects the device from a split second and then disables it within device manager. Every time I try to enable it, it displays in the scan app and then is disabled straight away. The error code I receive is 22. I've tried this in multiple USB ports. Is there any reason as to why this is happening? Thanks906Views0likes0Comments
