Give the ability to paste an image from the clipboard.

 

Example ... I use the snipping tool to copy part of my screen.  I copy this to my clipboard.  I'd like to be able to paste that image from the clipboard.

This still doesn't work @Allen can it be reopened.

 

1. Ctrl-Shift-S to snip in windows

2. Paste just inserts a carriage return

Using Win 10 Pro 21H1, Windows Key + Shift + S will copy the selected desktop area to the clipboard and Ctrl+V (or Paste) will paste it from the clipboard into the Paint 3D or Paint programs. From there, it can be saved in common image formats (JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP.)
