Dark theme is spread on many major websites on the web and becoming prebuilt color scheme in Microsoft, Google and Apple operating systems. How can the Microsoft Tech Community better welcome and encourage new members? One suggestion I have is to improve the 'Learn More' link on the front page.  At the moment it just goes straight to the Community Info Center listing the latest activity in this space.      This is such a lost opportunity! It doesn't help potential new members at all, to get any real info they would have to navigate to the 'Getting Started' space and read the relevant posts.  How many people will spend the time to do this or will just loose interest more likely?  Here are just a few additional ideas:   Pin some getting started resources or guides to the Community Info Center Even better change the 'Learn More' link to go straight to a getting started guide Have some additional resources, a cheat sheet, infographic, map to all the communities, scavenger hunt etc. anything that promotes new (and potential) members to explore and engage with the community I write this as possibly being one of the biggest fans of the Microsoft Tech Community, which is why I wrote Why I love the Microsoft Tech Community. Posting a new reply to an older post brings the post to the top of the list, but for some reason, an older reply is showing in the preview.   Can this please be changed to to show the latest reply to the question?  It seems that replies with the most Likes or marked as solutions are favoured in the preview, but that should not be the case if the question pops to the top of the list because of the   latestreply.  This is bad UX. Hello tech community,   Often times I have two browsers opened, side-by-side, and in doing so cannot view the entire toolbar when posting a reply in the community. Take for example: It isn't until I widen my browser that I am able to select the "..." or "Expand toolbar" My question... would it be possible to include the "Expand toolbar" option regardless of the size of the browser? It would be helpful to have some type of indicator in each of the cards on the Blog pages to indicate that that the topic/space had some posts during the past few days. For example, the page at https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Enterprise-Mobility-Security/ct-p/EMS has 4 spaces and we can't tell which one(s) have recent posts. In the Microsoft Tech Community, a user can follow another user and another user can also do the same, but there is no meaning in doing that. This website feels like you are in 2007 with 2012 design - everything is flat and page reloads at every click on any link.   I respect the effort you Microsoft developers put into this portal, but also we need to rethink some aspects that becoming problems, like navigation inside this website. Every major website on Internet has: SPA means no page reload at any a[href] that leads to inner resources; Lazy load; Virtual scrolling; Infinite page ( debatable, I'm against it personally, pagination is better ). I really like the blog space but I miss an aggregated view. I'm interested in several topics and I would really much appreciate, if I could select the blogs I am interested in and see what's new at a glance, but also keep browsing to older blog posts.   The current blog home page only shows the latest 8 or so posts and does not let me view earlier entries. So if you do not watch it daily, you miss a ton of information.   Not much is needed to enhance the Latest Blog Articles view for that. Make it a one-column list with a summary of the latest entries and add pagination. In a second step, add a filter so we can choose what blog entries to include and what to omit. Or alternatively, highligh entries of favoured blogs but keep entries of other blogs to spark some interest.   Or just add RSS functionality to each blog and I can simply subscribe to them with my favourite RSS reader. ... I would like to suggest a change on the Community Registration page where a note should be added below the e-mail address box when trying to register with O365 Accounts that "The O365 e-mail address is in the organisation's hands and the account will remain with the organisation even when you leave the organisation.", something like that. I am suggesting this because I have seen a lot of community posts where users want to transfer their profile to another O365/MSA account because they are changing/leaving the organisation but those accounts go into vain just because this website could not transfer that. One of our main activities is to conduct presentation about Microsoft Technologies. In order to do presentation, I need to use nice and attractive icons and animations (e.g. 3D logos, glass logos and so on). Consider slides in Ignite and other Microsoft presentation. For now, I have to do search for images or look for old presentations to find logos and icons.
