Skype for Business Hybrid - More tenants

Brass Contributor

Hi

I have a Skype for Business on-premises installation with more than one sip domain, and want to enable Hybrid mode

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/skypeforbusiness/hybrid/plan-hybrid-connectivity#infrastructure-req..., says only a single tenant is allowed with one on-premises skype for Business, but I have a tenant per sip domain.

I can setup multible Azure AD Connect servers and filter out which users are synchronize to which tenant, so a user will only exist in one tenant

But will this work, and is this supported?

Do you mean you have 1 separate Office 365 Tenant (xxx.onmicrosoft.com) per SIP domain used in Skype for Business?

SIP Domain Office365 Tenant
domain1.com domain1.onmicrosoft.com
domain2.com domain2.onmicrosoft.com

Hi @Erwin Bierens

Yes that is the current setup

i don't think this will work, as your SIP domains are active in their own tenant as domain and not active within the hybrid tenant.

But what is your goal, where do you want to go in the future?
Maybe there are more possibilities to achieve this.

Hi @Erwin Bierens

The goal is to migrate one of the sip domains to Teams

My thought was to activate hybrid in all tenants, and then I would assume it would work
