skype phone number transfer to teams
Hi Microsoft community. I hope you will be able to help me with this question. In company I work for, we have a skype number set up. We use this skype number for our customer service. Now, since skype is about to reach EOL, and we would like to have better control over this account we want to transfer this number to Teams. This number ,account was created years ago and it was requested as a new number. Therefore, the provider for this number is SKYPE/MICROSOFT. I have read bunch of articles and tutorials on how to port a number to teams, however this (wheatear done by automated wizard in office of send manually to PSTN service desk) requires a lot of information that I don't have. I have credentials to this skype account, phone number that is associated with it, but I can not figure out how to transfer it to teams. Can you please advise ? It really sucks that MS Skype is about to reach EOL and there is no clear information about how to transfer from number from skype to teams. Community Skype for Business Adoption
Can't Sign in to Skype Error
Hello: I am trying to either remove Skype for Business or enable it. I am unable to remove it out of Default Applications and clicking Uninstall does not work at all. The installation is stuck on my local machine. Can someone direct me on how to remove the application? When I try to enable Skype for Business, I get the following error message:
White screen if use local web client in S4B 2019
I would like that my users don't use MS CDN and use only local S4B web client . 1. I have a link for meeting https://meet.exchlab.ru/test01/5V854YXZ?sl=1 2. If I follow it I see white screen. 3. But this page a not really empty it has a html code. 4. If I set UseLocalWebConfig to $false, web client S4B is downloaded from MS CDN and works perfect, but I need local client, because not all of my internal users have access to Internet. Why I see white screen instead of normal web page?
Skype phone numbers we are using for US, AU are not working at all, we need help please
We have already paid for yearly renting of the Skype phone numbers we are using for US, AU and these are not working because are not getting redirected after the right settings in place, also the voicemails are not working at all, no settings working at all and after paying there is no one to talk to and report the issue, no email of support, no department of support to send ticket, no phone number, absolutely nothing to provide you support as client for something that you paid and is not working!!! I have tried to adjust the settings based on the forms from the Skype app for windows also from the Skype app for web and I tried both the redirect also the voicemail and none of them working to be setup. So disappointed and we already paid for 1 year in advance for both of them. We need help!
Salesforce Integration with Skype For Business
A while back you may have heard that there is a way to integrate Skype for Business with Salesforce. We just posted an article to the Skype for Business Community Blog detailing how to do this. In the Netherlands, the asylum procedure is going to take place -due to COVID 19- online. Also lawyers should contact the clients through meetings organised by the government, using Skype for Bussiness. Asylum seekers usually do not have phones, tablets or laptops that a capable of setting up our own meeting, and even if they do, the internet connection in the asylum centers is usually of very poor quality. (In an asylum center, few laptops are installed by the government to be used by the asylum seeker) The government is setting up these meetings, but they should not take part in the meeting between the lawyer and his/her client (the asylum seeker). As lawyers, we are worried about client-lawyer confidentiality... can the government record our meeting, even without taking part in the meeting? Can they listen in, 'incognito' to the meeting? Does SKYPE (for Bussiness) have these options?Unable to download 7.0.2046.524 Core Components update?
I am met with a 403 forbidden when I try to download the 5029968 Cumulative Update july 2023 7.0.2046.524 for Skype for Business Server 2019, Core Components from Opdateringer for Skype for Business Server 2019 (KB4470124) - Microsoft Support I have downloaded all other 7.0.2046.524 updates without problems. I would like Skype for Business to add a buzz feature. I would like to be able to buzz the given target meaning raise their messaging window to the top and shake the window to get their attention. Sound alerts are not an option for me, I missed far to many timely messages because all I have is a small flashing icon in my task bar. If someone needs immediate attention, sends me a message, and I don't respond. I want them to be able to buzz me causing my window to come to the front and visibly shake.SONUS - CAS-R2 CD Bit error
I'm trying to setup a SONUS 1K in Brazil with Vivo as a provider It's an E1 R2 CAS connection, but I can't get in or outgoing calls to work This is my current R2 CAS profile When I restart SONUS, I get this CAS-R2 CD Bit error Does anyone have experience with SONUS and an E1 R2 CAS connection to Vivo?
Skype Web Components Server Error
Good day all, Been having a strange issue regarding TLS and Web Components Server Errors since deploying a new single server. There is currently 2 single servers on the topology and moving a user from one FE server to the other seems to not always work, especially if they are coming via the EDGE server. On most login requests we receive the below errors in the even logs: { An unhandled exception was encountered. If the problem persists contact product support.} Restart obviously didnt resolve this issue. Checking the system logs, I see the following schannel errors: A fatal error occurred while creating a TLS client credential. The internal error state is 10013. When I checked the TLS settings on the FE (which is where I get all these errors above) with inetcpl.cpl I see that only TLS 1.2 is ticket. Looking at the EDGE server, there is no apparent error that is causing this. We just added the new servers to the SRV and A Record DNS entries, so this shouldnt be an issue. The EDGE has the below schannel errors: An TLS 1.2 connection request was received from a remote client application, but none of the cipher suites supported by the client application are supported by the server. The TLS connection request has failed. Not sure if this could cause any issues though as the working environment has the same errors as the above.

Hello to all Related to Skype for Business On-premises 2015 Someone might start calling the mobile app while away from work by connecting over a 3G network, then switch to the corporate Wi-Fi network. In this case, assuming the necessary actions in the configuration, will the call be interrupted or can it continue?
Microsoft Phone System + Calling Plans + Analogue Device
Hi Everyone, We use Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Phone System with Calling Plans. This is our single phone system for everything, we do not have any other PSTN, SIP Trunks, nothing. Is it at all possible to somehow connect an analogue phone line to this environment? We own an AudioCodecs VE SBC and have an MP-112 ATA, Our AudioCodecs SBC is connected to Teams with Direct Route, but since we use Calling Plans..we don't really know where to go from here or if it's even possible. In an ideal world, we would provision a user in our AD, give it a phone number from Microsoft Calling Plans, and then have that phone number be the number of an analogue device (FAX). Any inbound and outbound faxes would go through the Calling Plans from Microsoft. I just want to know if that's even possible? I have attached the picture I modified from some AudioCodecs documentation. Since we use Calling Plans, everything is in the Microsoft Bubble on the right. Thank you so much for your time.
Dial 0 to reach Operator
Is there a way with any of the SfB Online features or preview features (currently enrolled in Dial Plans and AA preview programs) to enable the option to dial 0 after reaching a user's voice mailbox? This is one of the most important features we are waiting for as our users would like to give callers the option to reach our operator if they have an urgent issue. We also don't necessarly want all calls to go to the operator- with call forwarding- but looking for another option to route calls if needed. I've looked for a workaround since I know Exchange UM is not supported with SfB Online yet.... so any ideas would be very helpful!Speed up meeting joins - Application Initialization Module for IIS 7.5
lacking a test environment, I'm curious if anybody has used the Application Initialization Module for IIS on SFB to preload all the apps? Our first joins of the day take quite some time, and this might help. https://www.iis.net/downloads/microsoft/application-initialization I was also told at Ignite that I could increase the settings on the IIS pool so it doesn't garbage collect it so fast. Has anyone else run into longer join times on initial meetings? If so, how did you solve it?Join Skype for Business Meeting delay
Hi everyone, I wonder if someone could help me. We‘re using Skype for business OnPrem 2019 and some of our customers complaining about joining meetings. Sometimes it takes several minutes to let you join a meeting. Have you ever experienced something like this delays? We can’t really see anything on the Skype for business server. Could it be related to the hardware itself for example drivers? Thanks in advance.Teams Room "Cannot Fetch Calendar"
Good day, I have just finished setting up our Lenovo ThinkSmart Hub500. Creating the room and users account as per MS instructions is all done and Teams Room is logged in. I can start a new meeting and project but no meetings are showing up. At the top it says "Cannot Fetch Calendar". What are we doing wrong? Thanks.
