Good day, I have just finished setting up our Lenovo ThinkSmart Hub500. Creating the room and users account as per MS instructions is all done and Teams Room is logged in. I can start a new meeting and project but no meetings are showing up. At the top it says "Cannot Fetch Calendar". What are we doing wrong? Hello, I have the following problem. Skype Business Pro and Outlook 2016 are installed together. Now, when I have a meeting, I am always shown as online in Outlook to others, and not as busy. In Skype, I have already checked all the boxes. I have also compared with other users, everything is 1:1. ello I got a lot of users who are complaining of a "busy phone sound and disconnect sound" playing in a loop in the headphones (jabra, poly or private). Its start most of the time when coming out of standby( some not), returning from homework, connecting to the dock. There is no clear line in it. the only way to stop it is to stop skype app and the skype background process. after restarting skype its gone for a while. There are no outgoing calls in the logs. it just plays the sound without stopping I updated all drivers and firmware of the hardware. All patches are in place. I can not replicate the trigger or the sound. Edition Windows 10 Enterprise Version 20H2 Installed on 1/06/2022 OS build 19042.2364 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4190.0 Skype® for Business for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2202 Build 16.0.14931.20858) 64-bit I can not replicate the issue. So can't test it on web.skype. I spend a lot of time of disconnecting replugging everything to trigger it or to stop it. Hi Community, I'm trying to support one colleague with very unusual Skype4Business (part of Office 2016 Pro.) crash issue. After user has successfully launched and login at S4B, the app will crash and disappear in less than a minute. We've tried some remediation steps, but still unable to determine the cause of the crashes. Re-formatted user's laptop again, then applied all Windows 11 and Office updates, but her S4B profile still crashed. Tried her S4B login to different Windows 11 machine, and S4B app still crashed in less than a minute. Other users tested on her Windows 11 laptop have no issue, as S4B app do not crash. If we test her S4B login at other Windows 10 machines, surprisingly S4B does not crash - so crashes only happen on Windows 11 machines The affected Skype4B build number is 16.0.4266.1001. We collected ".UccApilog" logs when her S4B app/profile crashed in Windows 11 - is this Forum the correct place to share the Skype log ? Dear Sir/Madam, I have a Poly Voyager 4220 Series and it's always stuck on mute whenever I muted it. The problem is, once muted, I couldn't unmute it anymore. The workaround is, I had to choose a different device, unmute, then choose Poly BT600 so I can speak again. But I don't have this problem with Microsoft Teams. I'm noticing a glitch that is happening with our older Snom 710/720/D725 phones, doesn't affect our Audiocodes phones. I believe it is related to STUN / ICE. When we have an external user that is connecting via our Edge Server (either a remote IP phone or S4B App) and they call an internal extension where the user has a Snom Phone, the audio will drop out after 5-10 seconds. If the internal user with a Snom phone calls that person back, the audio is fine so it is only a one-way issue. Our Company policy dictates that we must lock down our exchange with 2 factor authentication. So we force a pin number to our devices and configure exchange active sync to authenticate via a user certificate (Certificate based authentication). Currently there are no options within the skype for business app to connect to exchange using a certifcate. So on launching the application we are prompted with the message (We cant connect to your exchange please try again later). We can connect to Exchange using certificates for email on the devices using the inbuilt stock email apps. Hi everyone, I bought a new MSI gaming laptop last month that I also use to work on via Citrix. To be able to use my microphone from my headset I installed Citrix HDX Media Engine (version 2.9.400). So far so good. When I call someone it works perfectly. But when I join a teammeeting, after sometime the other people can’t understand me or very badly. Mostly when I’m talking for a longer period of time. It’s like my microphone output volume just falls out. I’ve tried everything, updating Citrix, downgrading to older Skype versions. Even updating to Windows 11, but nothing works. Please note that on Discord, everything works perfectly. So my hardware isn’t the problem. I’m using Skype for Business in a Citrix Environment. I can call perfectly, without drops, with other people. But when I join teammeetings with multiple people, people often complain that they can hardly understand me. The headset is an usb-headset; plantronics blackwire 5220. On my old laptop everything worked fine. So I guess something new on the MSI laptop is messing with my microphone? So TL;DR: something is causing my microphone to fade out when talking in Skype for Business group meetings. 1. Teams Only organization w/Phone System/Calling Plans 2. Polycom VVX VoIP phones (latest SfB online certified firmware) When someone calls in, the Polycom phones and Teams apps that are logged into that account ring, but when we answer one of the Polycom phones, the person calling us cannot hear us. We can hear them. This happens about 3/4 of the time, but not always, and with seemingly no pattern. It doesn't seem to happen when answering using the actual Teams app - only when using the Polycom phones. I've checked out our firewall settings and we are not blocking any of the documented ports or ranges of ports that need to be open, and there is nothing in the actual call log that indicates something is going wrong.
