Hello Microsoft Teams Community, I would like to suggest a feature for Microsoft Teams that could help multilingual users communicate more naturally during meetings. Feature Idea: Each participant can speak in their own native language, and Teams will automatically translate and play the speech audio in the listener’s selected language in real time. Example: Telugu speaker talks in Telugu Kannada user hears Kannada audio Hindi user hears Hindi audio English user hears English audio This would be more powerful than subtitles because users can continue conversations naturally in their mother tongue without needing to read captions constantly. Possible Technologies: Speech-to-Text AI Translation Text-to-Speech Real-Time Voice Streaming Benefits: Better communication in multilingual countries like India Improved accessibility Easier collaboration for global teams More inclusive meetings I believe this feature could significantly improve communication in international and regional meetings. Hello collective im facing an issue with new Poly devices Poly X52 + Poly TC10 + Poly Trio 60 Poly X52 + Poly TC10 Both devices can not connect to M365. Error message: "Couldn't connect to Workplace Join. try again, or contact your admin." Firewall settings seems to be ok and devices are on the same VLAN. Hi, Since yesterday we have been having firm wide issues with camera usage and screen share in Teams calls. When user 1 calls user 2, user 1 can see user 2s camera and screen share. User 2 cannot see user 1s camera or screen share. It seems to be that the recipient cannot see camera feed or screen share, but the original caller can see incoming camera feeds and screen shares. We have tried fully reinstalling and nuking local cache, but no luck. Before we start looking a bit deeper, has any others had this at all. Hi all, I have a Yealink MP56E2 desk phone with the extension EXP50. When adding "Consult Transfer" to a line key on the extension then the text "Consult with" plus the contact name is added to display on the extension. Consult with is displayed on the first of two lines, taking away a lot of space. Even worth if you change the language to German. Then only 3-4 characters remain to display the contact name. See pictures below. Has anyone managed to change the leading text? Hi everyone, I’m currently unable to sign in to Microsoft Teams using my work account. When I launch the Teams desktop app, I receive the following message: "You need a paid subscription to use Microsoft Teams. To continue using Teams, you’ll need a license. You’re currently signed in as [my account]. Please click Request License to ask your admin for access or sign in with a different account." However, according to our admin, a Microsoft Teams Premium license (or equivalent Microsoft 365 license) has already been assigned to my account. I can also see Teams listed under My Apps in the Microsoft 365 portal. I have tried the following steps: Signed out and signed back in Tried Teams web app (teams.microsoft.com) in an InPrivate or Incognito browser Cleared Teams cache from %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams Reinstalled the Teams desktop client Unfortunately, the same message still appears. Could someone please advise: Is this a known sync or license propagation issue? Should the admin reassign the license or refresh it from the Microsoft 365 Admin Center? Are there any other steps to force Teams license validation? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Can anyone advise what else we can try to ensure the list of Teams/Channels a user is part of appears in their Teams app list please? A user is having a recurring problem where Teams are missing from their list. They are still Members/Owners of those Teams. We have continually reset the app, cleared the cache, checked the app version, uninstalled and reinstalled the app and the issue resolves for a short period of time and then it comes back again. I am following up on a rendering issue where my custom app icon appears as a blank white square on the iOS client. Current Status: Despite following the standard guidelines, the icon fails to render on iOS (Works perfectly on Android/Desktop). What I have tried (and failed): Changed accentColor: Updated manifest from #FFFFFF to #4B6BF5 (Brand Blue) to avoid white-on-white issues. Version Bump: Increased manifest version from 1.0.17 to 1.0.18 to force cache invalidation. Re-installation: Completely uninstalled the app on iOS, cleared app data, and re-added it. Direct Upload via Teams Admin Center: I tried uploading the app package directly through the Admin Center, but the icon still fails to render on iOS. Commercial Marketplace: I have users who installed the app via the Commercial Marketplace, and they are also seeing a blank icon. "Publish to Org" via Developer Portal: I also tried the "Publish to Org" feature within the Developer Center, and the result is the same. Icon Validation: color.png: 192x192, PNG, Transparent background. outline.png: 32x32, PNG, Pure white pixels only with transparent background. Cannot print a photo. Printer(s) work fine for documents, but just stalls on the photo preview page - says it connecting to a printer, green line just continuously scrolls, never connects to any of three different printers. One printer "your printer has experienced an unspecified configuration error 0x80010105". Tried standard stuff: unplug printers, checked Windows 11 updates, Printer Troubleshooter, restart computer, checked print spooler . . . and a Quick Assist microsoft tech uninstalled/reinstalled printers with updated drivers. BTW. didn't have this problem prior to update from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Any ideas as to the problem and importantly a solution??105Views0likes0Comments
