If the panel on the left side of the screen, which displays your folders and mailbox items like Inbox, Sent Items, Drafts, and Deleted Items, is missing in Outlook, you can try the following steps to recover it:

  1. Look for the small arrow icon (typically pointing to the right) at the left edge of the Outlook window. Click on this arrow to expand the panel. Sometimes the panel may collapse to save space, and clicking the arrow will expand it again.

  2. If the arrow is not visible or clicking on it doesn't expand the panel, try pressing the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+1 (Cmd+1 on Mac) to switch to the Mail view. This shortcut key combination usually brings back the left panel if it's hidden.

  3. If neither of the above steps works, go to the "View" tab in the Outlook ribbon at the top of the screen. Look for the "Folder Pane" option in the "Layout" group. Ensure that the "Normal" option is selected. If it's not, click on it to restore the normal folder pane view.

By following these steps, you should be able to recover the panel on the left side of the Outlook screen, showing your folders and mailbox items.
