Outlook App not requesting new password

Lately, within the last month or so, we have been having issues with users updating their password within the Outlook application.

When users change their network password, the application is behaving in 2 different ways.

1. Users are not being prompted for their new password

2. Users are continuously being prompted for their network password, no account lockouts are occurring, the app just seems like it wont accept the new password


I was wondering if anyone else has ever experienced this issue. We have used the Help & Feedback option within the Outlook app, and all they suggested is the account to be removed and re-added, which doesn't correct the users that are having the continuous pop up for the password after logging back in.


Lastly we have tried re-installing the Outlook app, re-onboarding the mobile device, and also resetting the affected users password.


Any suggestions or guidance would be appreciated.
