Stolen laptop can't access one drive
I recently had my.laptop stolen. Fortunately my files have mostly been backed up on OneDrive which was set up when I first purchase the laptop. However I can't recall what an username or email I uaed and the password. Any ideas how I can get reminded of the user password at least. The password I can work out or reset it. I'm not 100% as ure was onedrive but as was windows 7 I assume one drive. I always rember between desktop and the c: drive and any other drives such as those when attach phone or other devices. I remember the external.memory being in between on the file explorer. Can anyone help me? Was thinking if I supply my regular used IP address or can find the device or laptop name can Microsoft help me at all..I had around 8 years of photos on there. Please please help thanks.in advance.Gazzr156Nov 08, 2024Copper Contributor1.3KViews0likes3CommentsChange status of OneDrive files
How do I copy or move OneDrive files to my PC so they will be permanently stored on my PC?roglcNov 08, 2024Occasional Reader14Views0likes2CommentsDownload OneDrive onto new MAC Sequoia
I have plenty of capacity now and want to keep my files, especially my pictures, on this MAC using OneDrive as a backup and for sharing with other devices. However, when I went through the setup and selected that option, only an old tree of photos was selected, and none of the recent/current photos appeared. Thousands of photos show on the MS Photos program on my PC, dating back to the last century! They are also visible when viewed on my iPad when selecting OneDrive, where the screen presented is the same as the Photos screen on the PC with the Photos title and my avatar. Selecting OneDrive>view online on the MAC also displays all the photos, although that iconic screen heading is different. There may be an issue with a second program on the PC, PhotoGallery, which was used before the Photos program existed. This is the file tree that was transferred and used until 2018. So, are the current images just floating there unfiled? There appears to be a sync issue, and I want to check to be sure they are qued to sync with OneDrive. Possibly, I could select and move them manually. What/where is the file holding the pictures in Photos so I can choose to download them manually? I found I can't simply pick them up and move them to a new location like I do on a PC.Don BuelkeNov 08, 2024Copper Contributor7Views0likes0CommentsNo puedo iniciar sesión desde que cambié Autenticator por el teléfono como método de seguridad
Gracias y saludosMNGaVNov 04, 2024Copper Contributor33Views0likes0Comments- ABDERAOUFHNov 04, 2024Copper Contributor38Views0likes0Comments
Creating New Account
I have been unsuccessful in creating a new account in OneDrive because four different times after going through the five-step puzzle solving routine and successfully completing it with the correct answers and was told I had proven that I was a real person, then the same 5-step puzzle solving routine comes back up again as if I had not passed it. I have tried using my other email and by creating a new email - neither of which was successful??? Looks as if Microsoft doesn't want me as a customer. But any help would be appreciated. B. Seeking advisement on if there are any features or workarounds known within the community to edit text files saved in OneDrive on an Android Oreo or above device? Does MS Word on Android support edit of text files or rtf files saved in Onedrive? Does the OneDrive Android app permit open of txt files? When I click a txt file the action results in open in my associated text editor QuickEdit, I then edit, save and then upload the txt file to OneDrive with overwrite of the original text file. is this currently the only way to edit txt files stored on OneDrive ; via a 3rd party editor? Please advise of any workarounds or if there are any built in txt edit features within MS Android apps (e.g MS Word) Thank YouJRDTechnologiesNov 03, 2024Copper Contributor11KViews0likes2Comments
