HELP!!! I too need help with one drive. I have spent the night deleting pics, files and emails to reduce storage. I've also emptied the recycling bin, cleared both the cache and data under storage per AI chat and I'm still stuck. Can't do anything as one drive has me locked up and is not recognizing all my efforts.  I don't want to buy more storage.  HELP!!!!!!!!! What's a girl got to do to get help to straight this all out before they dump my account??

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with your OneDrive. If you've accidentally deleted your pictures and videos, there are several options you can try to recover your files.

    1. Check the OneDrive Recycle Bin

OneDrive keeps deleted files in the Recycle Bin for a period of time (usually 30 days) before permanently deleting them.

To restore from the Recycle Bin:

    • Go to the OneDrive website.
    • Sign in to your account.
    • On the left side, click on Recycle Bin.
    • Look for your deleted pictures and videos. If you find them, you can select them and click Restore to bring them back.

    2. Check the OneDrive "Version History"

If you've accidentally overwritten or edited a file, you might be able to recover an earlier version of it.

To restore previous versions of a file:

    • Go to the file or folder in OneDrive.
    • Right-click the file and select Version History.
    • Choose a version you want to restore and click Restore.

    3. Check Your PC's Recycle Bin

If you were syncing files between OneDrive and your PC, they might also be in your computer's Recycle Bin.

To restore files from the PC Recycle Bin:

    • Open the Recycle Bin on your computer.
    • Search for the files you deleted.
    • Right-click and choose Restore.

    4. Check OneDrive Sync Issues (on your PC)

If the files are still missing on OneDrive, there could be sync issues between your PC and OneDrive. To troubleshoot:

    • Right-click the OneDrive icon in the taskbar.
    • Select View sync problems or check Settings to make sure everything is syncing properly.

     5. Use OneDrive’s Online Recovery Options

If your files are no longer in the Recycle Bin, there may still be a chance to restore them:

    • Go to the OneDrive support page.
    • Look for Recover deleted files and follow the instructions for recovering lost files from OneDrive support.

Hopefully, one of these options will help you recover your deleted files.
