Gracias y saludos32Views0likes0CommentsRestricting unauthenticated sharing / Anyone links to certain users or group
Hello. We want specific users in our organisation to be able to share documents anonymously using "Anyone links". Our current Office 365 "Sharing Policy" is set so that users can share external to "New and Existing guests" , for both sharepoint and onedrive. The problem is that Sharepoint Admin centre doesn't appear to have the option to allow us to maintain our existing policy "New and Existing guests" which applies to 99% of the business and allow only a couple of individuals the option to share files anonymously, within the Microsoft ecosystem. For example, the marketing team want to a share company presentation slides externally without specifying every email address that is permitted to view the shared file. With this in mind, is there a PowerShell script that I can deploy that will allow for certain users or groups to share files anonymously whilst keeping our default policy "New and existing guests" for the rest of the business?566Views1like3CommentsOneDrive folder redirection disappears
Hi, We have a customer with enabled folder redirection through OneDrive where sometimes the folder redirection disappears, normal user desktop and documents show up instead. To solve this, we have to manually go into the OneDrive Settings -> Backup -> Manage Backup & Start Sync After that the folders and redirection is back. This can last from weeks to months until it happens again, random when it happens and to which user. Any ideas how this can be solved automatically or by a script that enforces the Backup Sync in OneDrive that can be run in the background (once a day or a few times a day for example). Sincerely, Robert.1KViews0likes3CommentsChange Language for AD Synced users
It looks like AD synced users are not able to change their language... So I have added an entry on UserVoice for this ->https://onedrive.uservoice.com/forums/262982-onedrive/suggestions/31989877-allow-ad-synced-users-to-change-language If you agree... please vote! :) Thanks, Eduardo38KViews2likes5CommentsHow to designate an uploaded file as cloud only
I am working with the basic personal version of One Drive on a Windows 11 computer. I watched all these tutorials and thought the designation was easy. After all the whole point of the cloud is to get things off the harddrive. But I am confused about the process. It seems some people are saying that I have to designate everything as on demand. I don't know what on demand means, so let me dispense with the vernacular. I want a number of files that I have uploaded to remain only in the cloud on One Drive so that they do not take up any space on my hard drive. Can anyone demystify this process? I understand once I have accomplished this that the files that are only in the cloud will have a little cloud symbol next to them? Hello, OneDrive is configured through GPO and 'use OneDrive files on-demand ' is enabled. It is working as it should, but there is only one setting that we can't find where it is configured, the 'Download all files'. The button is greyed out and we have the message 'Downloading all files isn't available due to your organisation's policy'. We have checked on the admin portal but we can't find any setting that seems to be related to that. Does anyone knows where this setting can be configured ? When using the "Add shortcut to OneDrive" feature for a SharePoint online library or folder, we experience inconsistent performance with the local OneDrive sync application creating/initializing the local "shortcut folder". Sometimes the sync application processes "changes" very quickly--100s of changes per second. And sometimes it does so very slowly--10s (or less) changes per second. We experience the same inconsistent behavior whenremoving a "shortcut folder"--sometimes it's fast and sometimes it's slow. In my testing, the difference cannot be attributed to either the specific SharePoint library/folder or the the specific client machine. On my own machine, I have seen both the fast and slow behavior when creating a "shortcut folder" for the same SharePoint library. Can anyone provide any insight on what might be causing this inconsistent performance? Could any service limits be coming into play? https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/throttling-limits#files-and-lists-service-limits Environment: Large SharePoint online libraries; Windows 11 client machines; current PROD ring OneDrive sync applications; Files On-Demand enforced via group policy; no rate limiting used for the local sync application.322Views0likes1CommentOneDrive shortcuts to Teams do not work

I have a Microsoft Surface Pro 9 with Microsoft SQ3 Processor with Windows 11 Pro (all Microsoft!). I wanted to install OneDrive in "Alluser" mode. I uninstalled the "Per User" Onedrive. I downloaded OneDrive here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/office/choose-between-the-64-bit-32-bit-and-arm-version-of-onedrive-9d36d262-4fc2-4019-a8f6-314ef41a29d1 I downloaded the version for ARM 64. Then I ran the installer with the switch /allusers per this Microsoft document: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/per-machine-installation This is where the problems begin. "Unable to install 64-bit Onedrive. You can only install 32-bit OneDrive on ARM based devices. Do you want to download the correxct version of OneDrive for your device? I clicked "Yes". The dialog disappears, and nothing happens. NEXT ATTEMPT I downloaded the 32-bit version from the website above. File downloaded appears to be identical (same size to the byte). I ran it anyway. Same error message! NEXT ATTEMPT I tried to install it without any switch. Same error message. Out of ideas. How do I install OneDrive on this Microsoft Surface? By the way, I had zero problems running this installer on Intel processor based computers.Solved835Views1like4Comments
