Moderating a Dynamically managed Team

Hi all!  I'm looking for some guidance.  I've been able to setup a Team with dynamic membership based on an M365group/distribution list/AzureAD group.  That being said, the next ask is that owners of that team are still able to moderate the Team.  We are looking to implement site-based Teams with membership based on those distribution lists.  Our communications team wants to moderate those Teams and control who can post in the various channels inside the team (including General).  Is this possible?  So far, from my own testing, once a dynamic group is set to the Team, everyone has equal footing and nobody can moderate the content posted.    Help!
