External Chat and calling

Copper Contributor

Hi community!

I'm searching for a external access solution.

Is it possible to allow external chat and calling external users, to a group of users and block it for the rest of the company?

Thanks for your help!

Hello @SteffenH82,

Microsoft Teams doesn't directly support adding groups of users to external access.

You can only add domains (you can allow all domains or specific domains). But that doesn't block some users in your company.

You can establish a policy with the necessary accessibility parameters and apply it to a group of users.

Looks like with the policys I can only allow or disallow external access.
At the moment we have 2 allowed domains.
Can I allow complete external access to 1 group and only 2 domains to another group? What policy has a new user?
Thanks for your help!
